Yep. I'll ride that horse every time your ass bleeds about Scott Frost beating Auburn in a NY6 bowl.
.

I don't really care. It was over Stidham, Kerryon was hurt, our star DB elected not to play and the o-line was on its last leg. Honestly typical bowl game for Gus.

Pretty much same story for the Sugar Bowl verses Oklahoma except you can add in our QB broke his arm on the first series.

Holy shit.

I just don't think that Texas will pull the trigger this year.
If next year is more of the same, I'll say he's gone before the season is over.

Probably this same week next year.

I agree. But looking at their schedule next year it’s literally looking that 8-4 is best case scenario. Of course anything can happen but if that does happen I can’t see them keeping him on that.

Whatever reporter that asked him "How shaken are you at 6-5 and how are you the right man for this job?" is legit as fuck.

The he topped it all by asking Herman, "How's your head?" :pound:

Okay I change my mind. He said his favorite Thanksgiving food is Ravioli. He has to go now.

I think he is given another full season. It is amazing how Texas can't get out of this funk they've been in. It seems like 9-10 wins a year should be a given for this program.

A good while ago Texas (and a few others) got hypnotized by the Jerry Jones philosophy.

The most important measurement of succes in the JJ world is revenue generation, not winning. As long as you are generating the most revenue, winning is secondary. Once revenue starts dropping, then winning can become important again.

My grandma (when she was alive), who was Italian, used to make a Turkey and lasagna on Thanksgiving. I didn't even know it was abnormal until like 7th grade.

On topic, I think Texas should give him one more year. The losses have been relatively close, it's not like they're getting blown out. I think he might be able to turn it around, I don't think Herman is a bad coach. That dude could have had any open job in America that year if he wanted it.

You probably didn't watch the Baylor game because they got blown the fuck out. They had 2nd and 3rd stringers in there when Texas scored their only TD with seconds left on that final drive. We played like shit and still dominated them in our game. The past two games both teams players have said, "we knew exactly what play Texas was fixing to run and that's exactly what they ran.

Texas leads the Big 12 in missed tackles, penalties, and sacks given up making them the worst blocking, tackling, and most undisplined team in the entire league. Please keep Tom Herman forever because that goes back to nothing else but coaching.

They aren't a great team this year. That's for sure. I'd just give him another year. Herman was one of the most sought after coaches, so I just have a hard time thinking this is purely a coaching problem. Another year and Texas will know. You scrap everything now and they have to potentially start over and they're looking at another 3 years of maybe bad football.

Herman decided to go with ehlinger and not even try to develop a real run game with an eye to his own job security... instead of the correct and possibly more volatile choice of Shane and actually having to develop a run game. It prolly would have meant more losses in year one, but would have given us a chance to be great... something we don’t have with a glorified fullback behind center and not even an attempt at a real run game.
So, they’ll let him play through blockhead Ehlinger’s senior year

What does your RB situation look like right now? Don't you have like your top 5 RB's all out for hte year injured?

No chance that they fire him this year. I think they give him at least next season to get things figured out, unless Urban is on board this offseason.
