They are and I'd take him over Freddie. But have to think there's a better option than him if it comes to another change here.

McCarthy is better than 1/3 of HC out there or more imo Kitchens as you know blows

you're a fan-boy who lets his wife dictate to him, who to be a fan-boy for. just sad.
My wife doesn't dictate anything regarding to football. I'm a Cowboys fan and she is a Packers fan but we both like Rodgers.

Based on what? Guy has some success with AR...falls off the cliff without him. do they appear to be struggling without him?

Yes McCarthy is a good coach and a change of scenery will be good for him.
None of what I'm saying is to imply he couldn't work out here. But not the given you think it is that he'd succeed.

I'd make calls to Riley and even Harbaugh before I'd hire him.....and of course see who else comes available after the season.

The entire Packers offense was geared around Rodgers when McCarthy was in Green Bay. The backup QB situation was dismal.

He does, huh? Guy had a 7-4 record with the Browns before Manziel was forced on him to sabotage the season.

and that was with Hoyer - not AR - at QB.

you mean like most teams with an elite QB?

Do they appear to be struggling without him?

yes...heard of him?

Not sure I'd hire him but I'd talk to him.
A college coach with no NFL experience? I'd pass on him but Harbaugh would be a good addition.

I guess I shouldn't comment about teams, I don't pay attention too. I look at him and he looks clueless, but don't know the tape on Pettine. Don't get fooled about half a season and injuries, Rodgers was hurt last season so of course diff record

Everyone is assuming McCarthy would go to the Browns.
Keep in mind the Falcon job will be open as well. I could see him going there with a staff.

I think Harbaugh to the Browns would be beneficial to the browns. I think that team could use a no BS coach like that.

Or a better coach maybe?

Pettine was 7-4 on a Browns' roster with Brian Hoyer as his starter.
Hoyer was a decent QB before injuries took a toll on him.

You realize that coaches with NFL experience fail and succeed......college coaches with no experience fail and succeed......OCs and DCs fail and succeed.......NFL coaches who haven't even been OCs/DCs fail and succeed

There is no right "type" of coach to hire.
