The season is only halfway done. Still a ways to go.
I feel the same way. I hate the overhype. Feels like a jinx when these stories come out

The Packers schedule is opposite of the 49ers the easier part is after the bye with the Redskins and giants and such. It is just that there are not Packer fans making post after post of only having one loss and saying they are the best team as most fans realize the season is 16 games long and that it is best to peak in December and not October.
Understandable.I feel the same way. I hate the overhype. Feels like a jinx when these stories come out
I would say only fools bet.
The original post implied that the Packers had played a murders row of a schedule I was simply pointing out the flaw in that logic. I want to see what the 49ers do against better teams as well but I'm comfortable saying they are one of the best teams and capable of beating anyone.
Current vegas odds to win NFC Championship...
New Orleans Saints 2/1
San Francisco 49ers 3/1
Green Bay Packers 5/1
Minnesota Vikings 8/1
Dallas Cowboys 10/1
Los Angeles Rams 12/1
Seattle Seahawks 15/1
Yes I hear you. The Niners have already beaten the Rams one game. If the Niners can beat the Hawks on Monday night November 11th, then I will start believing that they are for real.I feel the same way. I hate the overhype. Feels like a jinx when these stories come out
Here comes sport board grammar guy.*They're
Aren't you the bright one.
Fair enough. The common thread is that they’ve both played almost exclusively crappy teams, sometimes the same crappy teams. While it’s a hallmark of good teams to win out against the dregs, no one is going to crown either the 49ers or Pats Super Bowl contenders until they can beat a good team.
I agree Hank. I never bet and I sure as hell wouldn't place a SB bet halfway through the season if I was a bettor. No matter how good the team is. Too many things can happen.
Wilson.
Thanks.
Last time I bet serious cash I took the Rams -11.5 in Super Bowl XIV.
Never again.

Sounds good!!!!If.
The Wee one has broken a lot of hearts. Put him on the Rams and Goff on Seattle, Seattle is suddenly the Jets. Rams are back to the SB.
I your definition of murderous row is having your teams opponents be above .500 then I guess you are right.
They are 30-29-1, and as I said after playing the Chargers and beating them will no longer be over .500. You were being a bit misleading and speaking as though the Packers had played teams that were well above .500.
Ah no all I said was the total record of the Packers opponents with all of them added together was over .500. I checked the Saints the other team with one loss and their opponents records when added together is actually less than .500.
What I should have said is the 49ers opponents record when added together is significantly less than .500 which it is.
