LOL.

I don’t think the Jazz are going to win the west either.

You really are a piece of work.

And those 2 situations are night and day different.

In what way are they night and day? 2nd and 3rd best player go down with injuries for an entire series. Seem pretty similar to me. It actually could make a good argument it was more devestating for the cavs as GS had 4 star players vs 3 star players...Is that what you mean? (lol)...I wouldn't really call that night and day

Is your conclusion that your made up hypothetical is right and mine is wrong? You do realize how dumb that is right? Do you at least see any Irony in acting like GS would have won but the Cavs wouldn't? Discuss your deepest thoughts on the matter

Night and day yes.

Not rehashing 2015 for the 800th time.

Let’s review some of your hot takes for those playing at home:

1) Kyrie is better than Curry
2) Warriors will be worse with KD
3) Cleveland was clearly better than GS in 2015 and 2016

You are on the top 3 list of the most biased posters here. You have zero objectivity in your posting. You are a punchline.

PS i am one of the few here who said the Lakers wouldn't make the playoffs, well you had them as a "top 4 seed" lol

Night and Day as in my way was proven the next year, and you are just making things up.

Had durant played they would have won...Maybe, maybe not...We know when Kyrie and Love "did" in fact play...The Cavs won, just like i said. Walk it off

We don't know if Durant had played if they would have won, and we will never find out either because he isn't even on GS anymore lol

I really don't care. I enjoy bringing it up when lance crys about GS missing players and how they "would" have won but somehow the Cavs would not have won somehow when their players were out...It's funny to me tbh

It is really impressive how some morons can come into conclusions when there is a very busy trade period going on,

Only to end the moronity of this "discussion", there are many factors that can affect this season's power rankings.

The teams to particularly watch are these (in that order):

1. OKC: They have a team that can make it to the playoffs and a bright future due to all the picks and the undeniable talent of S.G. Alexander they've added, but making the playoffs without the ability to contend for the title, isn't enough for them. Additionally, they also need to go under the lux tax threshold for this and the next season, so that they can avoid paying repeaters tax in the future.

They therefore have a few choices:

A. To "cash" the picks and end up contending for the title.
B. To decide if they will extend Gallinari, or trade him by mid season.
C. To decide who to trade between CP3 and Schroeder, in order to obtain a starting 3&D wing and a PF/sbC combo player.

2. Raptors: They have many key veterans expiring on Lowery, Ibaka and Gasol. It is possible that they can achieve a win-win trade with another ambitious to contend team.

3. Celtics: They have an extremely expensive contract on Hayward that is coming from bench, if they wcan achieve to move it, they may be able to advance into contenders.

4. Bucks: They have too much depth on 3&D wings and on "bigs" too, they will surely be involved in trades soon, so that they can add a combo guard and a SF/PF combo forward and end up even better than what they already are (which is the best team in the league).

5. The Magic: They are in need for a starting combo guard and have Aaron Gordon coming from the bench (cause Isaac is starting). If they (painfully) trade Gordon, they can end up a contending team.

6. The Nets: They have in the back on their minds that they may be able to play KD for the playoffs, if they can trade for a PF/sbC "big" in order to back up Allen/Jordan, as well as fill the PF "gap" they have in their roster. If they can have a trade in order to fill the gap and do have Durant back for the playoffs, they may as well contend from this season.

7. The Kings: They have added Barnes, Ariza and Dedmon and therefore are starting the season much better than they were last year. If they can add a PF/SbC combo (trade Bjelica, now that they have Ariza perhaps?) in order to be able and back up Bagley & Dedmon, they can be a threat for any other team and even contend.

8. The Pelicans: Surely not in their mind to contend from this season, but if they make use of the picks they've gathered and move Holiday's contract, it can ensure a playoff spot and save them one or even two seasons from becoming a contending team (IMO they are the favorites to trade for Beal).

There other, additional factors that will highly influence the league's power rankings:

1. The free agents that will be in the open market after they will be waived or agree to buy out their contract out of their current teams. The Cavs alone have four candidates on Tristan Thompson, Mat Dellavedova, Jhon Henson and Brandon Knight, more teams that will be losing hopes to make it in the playoffs have expiring bad or unwanted contracts.

2. The "salary filling" contracts (cavs again?) that will be used in three team deals and may cause moving players of whom the contracts seem unmovable at first site.

3. The tanking teams trading valuable veterans (Wolves - Covington?, Wizards - Beal?, CAVs - Clarkson? etc...).

4. The players that will be on the trade market because their teams cannot (or is not willing to) extend them... (For instance: Can the Kings extend both Hield and Bogdan Bogdanovic and then renew Fox too a season later, or is it best financially to trade Bogdanovic now?)

Literally 95% of the NBA board has been put on ignore. I imagine Buck can basically only see his own posts at this point.

You're probably right. I recently got him approved to have an alt so that he could have someone to interact with, but he put that on ignore too.

Let’s review some of your hot takes for those playing at home:

PS i am one of the few here who said the Lakers wouldn't make the playoffs, well you had them as a "top 4 seed" lol

1) I said that back in like 2014. Back then it was true. I also said that back in 2014, Kyrie was a better player to pair with LeBron. Which was true.
2) The 2019 Bucks were better than the 2018 Cavs. I don’t think many outside of Cleveland homerville would disagree with that. The 2018 Cavs were one of the worst Finals teams from the last 30 years.
3) KD said the Cavs were more talented. I agree with KD. They were more talented. The Warriors were the better team though.

As for the Lakers, I don’t remember where I picked them. Honestly don’t think I picked at all. I know I said there were 10 really good teams in the West and I would not have been surprised if any of them outside of GS and Houston missed the playoffs.

More talent does not equal better team.

Again, this is not a video game.

Damn, you are reaching hard to find hot takes of mine that weren’t even hot.

No dude.

You brought the Warriors into this.

I made 1 comment about the Jazz being good, which everyone else agreed with, and you started this whole thing.

Alright, I take that back.

I mentioned the Warriors first.

Only because you failed to comprehend a simple analogy.

Everyone with common sense knows the Raptors were not the best team in the NBA last year. The fact that you think winning = best team, (but only when it applies to your team) is comical.

1) It wasn't true then or now

2) The Bucks didn't even make it out of the second round in a lowly east. Stop making random statments and then declaring yourself right lol...

3) babble, can't admit you were wrong

Really?

The 2019 Bucks didn’t make it out of the 2nd round?

You can’t even get simple facts straight. No wonder people don’t respect your extreme homer opinions.

Post a poll if you want. 2019 Bucks vs 2018 Cavs. I bet the Bucks get more votes.

Glad you finally see it my way

Best team doesn't really matter...It's who wins. The Indians were probably the best team in the MLB, they still choked and lost to the Cubs after being up 3-1.

Then stop crying about 2015.

The Warriors won, and that is all that matters.
