I'm starting to wonder if Curry is a lock to have a monster year. Without Klay and KD out there, defenses will key on him mercilessly (DLo is helpful but come on...). Remember the box and one Toronto threw at him? Like that.

On the other hand, his attempts should go way up. Definitely interesting to see the new look team.

After all I've seen so far and given that my basketball knowledge by far exceeds the outer idiots that participate in this forum, I have to revise my predictions:

- NBA title: Milwaukee Bucks
- NBA finals: Bucks vs. Jazz
- NBA ROY: Zion Williamson
- NBA MVP: Giannis Antetokounmpo
- NBA finals MVP: Giannis Antetokounmpo
- NBA most improved player: Thanasis Antetokounmpo
- NBA Defensive player of the year: Thanasis Antetokounmpo

- Bucks: Over 65 wins.

- GSW: Might NOT make it to the playoffs (unless if they trade Carroll and add an off the ball shooter instead)

- Pelicans may (just) make it to the playoffs,

- OKC may (just) make it to the playoffs,

- Spurs won't make it to the playoffs,

- Hornets will be battling with the Suns and the Cavs for the "worst record in the league" title,

- Lakers and Rockets won't make it to the WCF unless it happens and they play each other in the 2nd round.

Good god you are an arrogant prick aren't you. You have proven on countless occasions that you know nothing about this sport and are nothing but a Homer. Bucks aren't winning the title. The finals won't contain either of those two teams. You may be right on Zion though my money is on Ja Morant. MVP will be from the west, most likely AD. Finals MVP will be Kawhi Leonard. Thanasis won't win either of those awards as they won't choose a non all star for an end of year award.

I agree but his mission for that award can make them the best team (by record) in the west

It definitely can. But as @tlance pointed out, Westbrook likely wants it too. If they both are trying to get it, it could get real ugly too.

I'll say this though. Either way it goes, they should be entertaining to watch.

I highly doubt its going to get ugly.

These guys are good friends. This is a mid 50 win team and top 2 seed out West assuming Harden doesn't suffer a serious injury

Houston will be perfectly fine in the regular season. The playoffs is when the issues likely happen IMO

so ego can't get in the way of friendship...?

I think Russ understands what his role needs to be. Harden is probably the best offensive player in the league outside of Durant and at the end of day, this is Harden's team.

Russ never been considered a bad teammate and same for Harden. Don't see why that changes now after both guys been in the league roughly 10 years.

You know who the good and bad teammates are by the things players say about them after they leave.

Never heard a bad word sad about either

I liked what I saw from the Lakers playing against the NETs... Despite the Nets withdrawing their two best players (Irving and Levert) from the floor, the Lakers managed to only lose the game in the final seconds...

Lebron proved to be an excellent defender in his 25mins. Davis was absolutely dominating everybody in the rim which resulted in the Lakers keeping up close to the score and even lead for a few points in some parts of the game...

All in all, the Lakers proved that they have a playoff capable circus among the West teams and should make it to one of the lower playoff spots... But then again, they don't play in the much stronger East and that should be somewhat of a concern down there in the "Zorroland"...

I'm really curious on what will happen when the Bucks will visit the Lakers this year... I know that p0rn movies aren't allowed in national TV and this game will be televised!:D

Full Disclosure, I hate Lebron James and everything about him. But if you think that the Lakers will be anything lower than a 3 seed then you are a bonified idiot and know nothing of this sport. I think you put me on ignore a while back which makes you a bitch as well but this way everyone can read this and let you know how stupid you are.

"Lakers proved that they have a playoff capable circus among the West teams and should make it to one of the lower playoff spots"

I'm the prez-o-dent of the SportsHoopla Lakers Haters Club (right @Mecca, @ChiefsLakers67, @trojanfan12? :heh:) but this comment is beyond absurd.

Please stop posting in all NBA threads since you think LeBron & AD will only carry the Lakers to a lower playoff seed. Because that's crazy talk.

By the way. Which All Star will take a pay cut to play in Milwaukee?

Literally 95% of the NBA board has been put on ignore. I imagine Buck can basically only see his own posts at this point.
