I still say no, but others talked about this during and after the game against the Bears. Let's see how the polling goes!

The answer is no. It isn’t what is best for Haskins and this was the first poor game for CK.

That being said, I fully expect us to do what is dumb.

"Others talked about this during and after the game",
Gruden was roasted last night. Between Booger mentioning more than 5x that Gruden should be fired and the all but thrown under the bus Riddick Louis lamblasting Gruden on National TV, I would say its only a matter of time before the fallout. What's done is done and NO, Haskins should not be placed in harms way. Our oline play is awful.

sooner or later you have to see if the guy can play and stop babying him . the qb we faced last night didnt have that many more starts then haskins coming in to this year .

if you are done with gruden fire him and move on but haskins needs reps

now at 0-3 and the way they are playing i see this going 3-13 fast .

if you keep gruden as the HC then why put haskins in ? let the new coach groom him

What? Trubisky has a FULL year plus playing QB in the NFL. That experience goes light years beyond playing 14 games in the Pop Warner league. How did Lamar look last year? Let me answer that, like crap. How is he doing in year 2? Pretty damn good. I'm sorry but, this team is not assembled, coached or run in a manner that would suggest your most prized possession at this point should be put in harms way. Protect your assets for the moment. New coach, new system, new players, then Haskins should be starter.

tribusky had only 16 college starts that was my point , haskins had 14 starts and tribusky played his 1st year

Trubisky looked like a totally different player last night against our poorly coached team. Counter with Case who had looked quite good through 2 weeks, and looked down right awful last night albeit, against a top defense. A combination of a lot of things last night that became combustible.

Wait for what? We are a fucking joke of a franchise! Fuck this conservative mindset, and take a damn risk. So, I say at this point we might as well end Haskins basic training and throw him directly in the line of fire and see how he performs. Daniel Jones of the Giants looked pretty good. Honestly, as a fan Ive grown numb and quite frankly, am embarrased to be a Redskins fan. Every nationally televised game we fucking get annihilated, we cant spell London Fletcher correctly at last nights ceremony, visting team has more fans than the home team, no legitimate coaches want to come here, we have some decent talent but I doubt any of them will want to resign with this inept franchise. Wake the fuck up Danny shit face Snyder. I apologize for my rant, and am just repeating what everybody already knows but it just fucking sucks to see this franchise wallow in shit. We let McVay and K Shanahan go gently into that good night and forge on with Gruden and Manusky two coaches who cant light a fire under their players asses even if they had matches and kindling.

If we are going to make the switch, this next game would be the time to do it. He has a punchers chance against the Giants.

NO!

I think the Giants will end up regretting starting Daniel Jones so soon too.

I understand Gruden wants to save his job and winning now helps that cause. I'm sure he believes Case gives him the best chance to do that right now and he's probably right.

However, the wins aren't there and probably won't be there no matter who's under center. Here is how Gruden saves his job. He ties himself to Haskins. He gets Haskins in there sooner rather than later and gets this kid to the point where he's rolling and putting up huge numbers by December and has Dwayne telling Dan, "this is my guy."

Make Dan pause and wonder if firing Gruden is cutting the legs out from underneath Haskins as well. That's the only way I can see it and Gruden needs to be thinking this way imo if he wants to stay.

Dan wants to be right about Haskins more than anything. He just seems to be built that way.

This is the only way Gruden saves his job. But that assumes Gruden wants to save his job. I’m not so sure. Maybe we can make a deal for him and Trent together.

Its not in haskins best interest to play this year, so therefor the redskins will most likely make him play this year.

Its what they do.

Gruden seems like a nice dude, but we all knew the story of what was to happen when the redskins went down by two touchdowns. His teams are not prepared, have no fire, and have made the same absolutely ridiculous mistakes year in and year out.

I feel bad for him, because clearly he has done enough right to last under our asshole owner for longer than even saint gibbs, but it’s time to move on.

haskins is a top 15 pick people . he has to play soon . the question is will the 14 college starts thing be gone next year if he doesnt ? no its still there

i think pro snaps vs real defenses is a must soon , at least when you are mathematically done it should be done

i see a big arm that can make throws no one on this team can

i dont feel bad for him , he is in year 6 and the same things keep popping up at a coaching level , time management , unprepared teams early in the year and in BIG games , disrepect on and off the field no halftime adjustments .

man if we saw that then you have a case but over and over again it the SOS
