Who cares what the announcers said???
Did you watch the video?
He’s lying. They never said that
Maybe PhiladelphiaEagles.com said it.

why would the refs say it, if by rule he was already down? No, during the game I didn’t notice anyone touching. If someone did touch him I think the refs would have said it after the review. Let me see if I can find a good video of it.
this guy remains the kid with the kick me sign on his backwhy would the refs say it, if by rule he was already down?

but the QB rule happened 1st. So as a ref there is no reason to say a player was touched or not.Well there were evidently two reasons why some think he was down. If he was down by contact they could have said that or the other rule.

What is the ref supposed to say on his mic.
The Qb gave himself & his knee hit before breaking the plain, but just in case I dont know what I am talking about he was also touched?
No. I dont think the ref is gonna say that.
bull shit...I've said many times that I was wrong about Bobby CarpenterNope, I’m the man who kicks ass in the Dallas pick em league and won’t back down. At least I’m man enough to admit when I’m wrong which you and Manster can’t do under any circumstances

How many times do you need to be told? It's about safety and preventing injuries. You're famous for using the injury excuse. Is that why you want it changed?I think you’re making a big deal out of nothing. I can’t tell by the video but Jarntt is saying he is being touched as his knee lands so two rules happened simultaneously.
Really is a stupid rule though. When a QB dives head first into the end zone with the ball extended he is not giving himself up. They need to tweak that ruling next year. But again, the Eagles has their chances to win and didn’t capitalize.
Bombarded by injuries I’m pretty happy with how they played. Pissed I started Desean in my money league though.
so....I've been wrong once and admitted it, your point is mootI know. That cracks me up. I asked you if you were ever wrong and you said, “I thought BC would be good”. Really stepping up to the plate there

I completely understand that and have ZERO issue with that. But when a QB is diving head first into the end zone he isn’t saying “Refs I’m giving myself up so I don’t get hit”
see...that's the difference between you & I. I play to my strengths while you're all over the lotYeah, 10 or so years ago you were wrong on one Cowboy pick. Got the other 100 right though didn’t you. Hey PE1 were you ever wrong. Yeah, once 30 years ago in HS I forgot to carry a decimal point in math.
This is what I was going by and I couldn’t tell...

Well if the Ref thinks he gave himself up there is ZERO reason to look any deeper.Well there were evidently two reasons why some think he was down. If he was down by contact they could have said that or the other rule.
Looks like 1. Knee down, 2. Defensive player touching Wentz, 3. Ball not at the goal line.Where does your link say that the ANNOUNCERS said he wasn’t touched? I’ll help... it doesn’t. The writer of that article said and he’s wrong.
