One problem, Fitzpatrick hasn't been all that good other than covering the slot on occasion. Having said that, I wish Dallas would offer Taco (1st round pick in the same draft) & a 2nd. I think Fitzpatrick would be much better on a better teamThe Dolphins want a first round pick for him.

this is true but I'd still give um Taco & a second. Change of scenery might do um both some good. Jeff Heath remains Dallas's biggest problemFitzpatrick was a highly coveted player coming out of college but his performance as a pro has been just average.
Why would you want a player that will bail out on his team when times get tough?this is true but I'd still give um Taco & a second. Change of scenery might do um both some good. Jeff Heath remains Dallas's biggest problem
don't think this is this guys MO...besides, Miami's situation is that badWhy would you want a player that will bail out on his team when times get tough?
obviously opinions vary hereThe Dolphins are a mess but Fitzpatrick is a quitter.

Taco is probably traded or released soon, trading him for Fitzpatrick sounds solid to me. I'd try to offer less than Taco and a 2nd, but if Pittsburgh is offering a 2nd and 4th then a Dallas 2nd would be needed.
Agree and I'd be OK with Taco and a 3rd or 4th, I do understand a 3rd or 4th is probably not enough.Dolphins are trying to accumulate picks. I don’t see them taking a player back in trade
He'll never be great because he has no heart. He'll quit on his teammates in the blink of an eye.Strictly as a slot cover guy, he has potential to be a great one...he's pretty good at it now. As a pure safety....no thanks. I wouldn't mind him in SF, but not for a 1st rounder.
It's been "internet confirmed" (take that for what it's worth) that the Cowboys already spoke to the Dolphins about him and the other day I heard Taco. Obviously will take more than Taco but I don't give a second at this point. Woods looks like a future start and I'd like to see Wilson play in a real game. Supposedly when drafted the Cowboys felt he can play both in the box and deep. Preseason was amazing but of course just preseason and thus not too meaningful. I'd be all over Fitzpatrick, just not for a 2nd. But, if they pull the trigger I'll be happy. I'd just love to see Taco and a 3rdOne problem, Fitzpatrick hasn't been all that good other than covering the slot on occasion. Are you following what's going on in Miami even a little? Why would you want a player that will bail out on his team when times get tough?
