At one point, a Dolphins' fan was caught throwing a punch at Mooney, who was wearing a Patriots jersey.

Witnesses told NBC 10 News that Mooney went unconscious.

The Norfolk County district attorney said the man was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
