AB accused of sexual assault now?
Anybody shocked?
this idiot in my fantasy baseball league is starting johhny cueto straight off the DL.....no way does he have enough of a leash to get anywhere near enough pitches to qualify for a quality start or a W and go even semi deep in the game. rookie mistake. Now- if Cueto jams it in my ass i will feel stupid
an easy thing to say 45 minutes into the game fuck stick. Especially when they said pre game he would likely be limited to 75 pitches.Cueto is a vet and he pitched 10.1 innings in his last 2 rehab starts.
He is likely to get 5 innings of pitching decently and could get 6.
So, you are probably wrong here.
by definition its not a quality start - technicallyCueto: 5 innings, 1 hit, 1 walk, 4 strikeouts
Seems like a quality start.

its just cracks me up----- I do have to compliment the ingenuity--- instead of refusing to make a prediciton- you just wait until the game is half over!!! lol.....oh man.....too fucking funny. The concern for pitchers coming back from TJ is command. But, Cueto has a 21/1 K/BB ratio over his 21 plus rehab innings. Small sample for sure, but that showing combined with Cueto’s strong track record make him worth giving a shot to for streamers who need innings. He has always been extremely efficient with his pitches.
Calling that a “rookie mistake” is short sighted on your part. And it figures that Cueto would pitch well after your comment.
So thanks for guaranteeing that he had a good outing!

so obviously you do not know how MLB defines a quality start. As i said- under the MLB defintion it was not a quality start. If you look it up i am SURE you will be able to find out very quickly how a QS is defined.Disagree. Pretty sure a pitcher has to go 5 innings to be eligible for the win.
He went 5 innings and got the win. Gave up only 1 hit and 1 walk, struck out 4.
Quality start.
I'll save you from looking.Disagree. Pretty sure a pitcher has to go 5 innings to be eligible for the win.

He pitched well, and depending on rules of league wiggy was wrong and he should have used him, but QS is 6 innings or more and 3 or less earned runs.
seems so...unless a ton of points added to pitcher with a QS.lol
Had already looked it up. He was one inning shy of the MLB definition. But Wiggy was still wrong based on the convo.
Yes- you do get extra points for a quality start- which, pretty much any baseball knows is pitching at least 6 innings and giving up no more than 3 earned runs. And again- that is the MLB definition- not mine.seems so...unless a ton of points added to pitcher with a QS.
