ARM & HAMMER back on the farm.Hai Karate!
Rendon is tearing it up. He is going to make his money next year. The guy has wnit all. 112 RBIs, .338 avg, .637 slg, 1.054 OPS and a 6.00 WAR. Unless our owners decide to have deep pockets forget about it.
exactly they'll sign 3 to 5 TJ pitchers like Volquez, Smyly etc and 2 or 3 level 4 or 5 FA positional players and hold a press conference where they will talk about how good they feel about the team they will put on the field in 2020. they don't want to compete just go thru the motionsZero chance this ownership group spends on big name, big $ free agents. JD and the current owners operate on the cheap, let’s take a bunch of fliers and see if we can catch lightning in a bottle mentality
I am thinking we will go after him.Rendon is tearing it up. He is going to make his money next year. The guy has it all. 112 RBIs, .338 avg, .637 slg, 1.054 OPS and a 6.00 WAR. Unless our owners decide to have deep pockets forget about it.
It would be an Addrian Beltre type move except it will cost more. But since it is not my money other than for tickets it would be a smart move. We need some solid veterans who are getting it done to mix in with the young guns we have.I am thinking we will go after him.
Excuse the typo on Adrian. It would be an Addrian Beltre type move except it will cost more. But since it is not my money other than for tickets it would be a smart move. We need some solid veterans who are getting it done to mix in with the young guns we have.
He and Cole are going to be so expensive to get. I wish we seriously try to get but I won’t be holding my breathe. Such a war brewing on those two this winter.Rendon is tearing it up. He is going to make his money next year. The guy has it all. 112 RBIs, .338 avg, .637 slg, 1.054 OPS and a 6.00 WAR. Unless our owners decide to have deep pockets forget about it.

My thoughts exactly.I think he would really move the needle on the entire offense... a la Beltre
He will probably start the game by giving up 3-4 runs in the first 3-4 innings and then he will go 7 innings but it will be too much for this anemic offense
