Making the playoffs matters. We'll see when Cleveland finally cracks that seal again. Regardless, Wiggy said they would better the Heat for that 6 year period. That's a wins count unless there's a championship (which there won't be for either franchise, especially within those 6 year periods) IMO.

The Heat tried to win and the cavs didn't. Pretty sure you understand this, right?

Both have lifetime losing records, but the Warriors have the much easier draw due to location, court, coach, roster and recent success level. All point to more success for the Warriors beyond what the Cavs can muster.

Think you were just pulling out anything there. Coach and court? You think players really care much about that?

I tried to start discussing the Jazz--- but turnup steered it towards a Shiteside discussion saying Shitesides stats are right there with Goberts lol.

very true--- every team needs good luck on its side when you win at such a high level in a league with 30 very competitive owners

the Cavs good luck came in the form of

1. winning the Wiggins lotto from like the 8th spot/no real 2nd serious contender for Love ever emerged

2. Arison/Riley made it easy for LeBron to leave Miami

3. No real contender in the East ever presented itself.

and of course Lebron being from NE OH.

wonder what he'd have done had Gund stayed? would guess he has a lot more respect for Gund, but I don't know he'd have seen the same commitment to spend from him.

Went there once as a HS senior. Had nothing to compare it to at the time, but it was fun. Been to Vegas since, but still agree a good time could be had in Laughlin....especially if just going for the gambling.

Laughlin's a great escape from the overcrowding of Lost Wages. But now I wanna know if he's ever been there. If he hasn't, well that makes his comment very odd.

I can't imagine living in Vegas. I would be sick of it within a month I imagine, although I imagine suburbs are suburbs, regardless of where you live. The only positive would be that they do have pro sports and draw a lot of touring bands. The whole casino thing is not my cup of tea though. Desert life would be tough with my English/Irish complexion; I might vaporize.

Have always thought this.....other than weather.

You sure? Kuz was playing pretty well for them and gave them a nice scoring punch at the 4. I'm a lot less optimistic about Team USA's chances with him off the teams now and I was already raising an eyebrow at them before this.
