Can't recall the other making it an "again", but well done.

do you prefer a medal or monument for your efforts?
I admitted error the first time we conversed (about me undervaluing Larry Bird as a coach)

*Waits for @WiggyRuss and the Cavs trolls to make fun of a player for getting hurt*
Don't like to see anyone getting hurt, but it's his M.O. .....a reason a reasonable NBA fan would rather have TT over him.

sure upside of a healthy Cousins at his best is preferable, but how often has that happened the last 2 seasons?

You're right for once in your life.

Congrats man
I mean, dont ya think there was probably a reason that DeMarcus Cousins signed a 1 year 3.5M dollar deal this offseason? I mean, that is kind of a clue that other teams probably did not have the greatest of faith in his health.

Yeah Wiggy....sure teams knew he would tear his ACL on August 15th.

exactly

i mean, Cousins has a lot of talent, obviously. There is probably a reason why he got a 1 year 3.5 million dollar deal....especially after taking a 1 year deal at a relatively small salary last year.

NBA players just dont say what the hell- ill take consecutive 1 year deals totaling about 10M dollars when they have all star talent without very good reasons behind it.

Yeah Wiggy....sure teams knew he would tear his ACL on August 15th.
so you dont think teams looked at his medicals and wanted nothing to do with him? Or that teams thought he was perfectly fine but just didnt want to pay him Ed Davis money?

Little over 1 a year....props to you.
That's just the brackets, first and last times I did so since you got here. I've done it other times too.

We're just different people in how we approach arguments, no big deal

It's a fair point, between the Achilles and the quad, he definitely started looking injury prone, so no one wanted to give him a big deal. The Lakers benefited and got to take a chance on him with pocket change. Didn't work out this time, sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't.

No one did the wrong thing here. The wrong thing was Boogie turning down Sactos supermax offer, and the Pelicans big offer too. But that's just hindsight and bad luck for Boogie. He bet on himself...and lost

Obvious his recent injury history is why he didn't get pay what he really deserved but you're acting like teams knew this would happen which is why I want to slap you.

But it isn't a huge deal. It was a low risk/high reward contract for the Lakers. Emphasis on LOW RISK

are we gonna have to listen to Anthony Davis whine about playing center?

so who starts? Mcgee at center? or kuzma at PF?

I would GUESS McGee at center since they will need a scorer off the bench and Davis hates the physicality that comes with playing center- but its just a guess.

I disagree in saying Boogie did the wrong thing by turning down the Kings offer

1) He didn't want to be stuck with a losing franchise which is why he didn't sign with the Kings.

2) I agree about the Pelicans. I don't know if his agent told him some BS that there would be more money out there in the summer but yeah turning down 2/40M after tearing his achilles which wasn't a good idea.

I mean....does LeBron start at PG for the Lakers?

I have no clue what their lineup is even going to look like. I know if I was the Lakers I would prefer having a respectable PG so LeBron can play SF.

what does the Lakers lineup look like on opening night?

I have no clue...

my guess?

PG: Rondo
SG: Green
SF: LeBron
PF: Davis
C: McGee

Bradley, Kuzma, KCP, Dudley off the bench?

Fair enough on #1, it's only hindsight that makes that one a bad move

Just shitty luck for Cousins

This is one reason Draymond took the safe money rather than playing a whole year and testing the market
