Top 40 Players for the 2019 NBA Season

This is my new, revised, updated, refurbished list for the 2019 season. This list will NOT include Kevin Durant since he will not be playing. This list will NOT be including Klay Thompson since he will be missing the vast majority of the season and will not be 100% upon his return----Oladipo- dropped. This is not ENTIRELY a "right now" list since I have built in some expected growth for young studs like Donovan Mitchell---- but it is definitely about 2019 performance--- not the next 5 years--- just this upcoming year.

But, there isn't a single name ahead of him that I can definitively say he's better than.

However, isn't he a taller version of Murray, who you have way to high?

Simmons is too low.

Zion would not make my list until he actually plays a few games.

Agree with others that Simmons is too low.

Agree with Mecca that I wouldn't put Zion there until he actually plays some games.

My list will be better. It's tough and time-consuming to rank players 25-50 and that is what the delay is about.

• Jrue and Khris too high.
• Too much love for the Jazz in general.
• Kawhi is not #1 until he plays in 70 regular season games, IMO.
• Embiid too high, but ya'll know I'm biased on that one.

Or until he wins 2 Finals MVPs with 2 different teams.

Who cares how many regular season games he plays? He carried the Raptors to a title because he was the best player in the league last year.
