Go read your link again. While it does talk about Franchise tags and transistion tags it doesn't say squat about 5th year options.
There is a major difference as Agents are working with the team trying to avoid the tags, whereas the 5th year option is usually enacted before any negotiations and if its enacted the agent cant negotiate out of it while the Franchise tag can be eliminated with a newly negotiated deal.
Again with the information available we don't know if agents get paid on the 5th year option.
