Because they team expressed an option that changes it from a 4 to a 5. Answer this... why did an elite NFL agent specifically say, “A 5th year option DOES NOT make it a 5 year contract”. Till you prove that wrong it’s over.

Simple. Because the 4 years is all your Super Agent has any control over. He can't say shit about the 5th year because it's controlled by the CBA.

Sagging pants are typically part of the black culture and why does a clothing style make them a loser? Why even bring that up? It’s sort of sounds like you are looking for a way to justify why you hate young black males. Like, “No, I like them but the ones that wear a particular style I really really hate”. That’s sort of racism in a nut shell. I hate all people because of their pants but not their skin color.
I’m sorry to hear about your Dads issues. Many of the older generation had racist views. But I asked you a question. Do you have any close friends that you can call on for support or have a close bond with that are Mexican or Black?

About the church thing.... the simply are just wrong. You can believe in god and it’s blessings but a book written by man to hate people is simply wrong.
You do know some white sag too, and I say the same thing about them.

What about a black man who thinks sagging pants are for losers, in he a racist in your eyes?

What the fuck is a race traitor? How can one be that? Sounds like some good old backwoods klan talk. I’ve literally never heard anyone use that term but it boggles my mind. Is it race vs race war and I am supposed to defend my race.

You’re fucking a clown.

Ever hear the term Uncle Tom?

Yeah, so. I’m sure he does hope they pick up the 5th year for the commission.

Yes, I do know the white male is infatuated with black culture from their style, clothing and how they speak. Sagging pants is a clothing style associated with young, inner city black males. Seems funny you brought that up and that you label ALL as a loser because of a clothing style.

Yep. But I don’t think you are able to carry on a deep, open hearted, discussion about the issues behind that. Most people can’t. Calling me a race traitor is saying we are separate as humans and that we need t defend our race over other races and that is not me. We all have topics that interest us and I’ve read and studied the topic of race and racism deeply. W. E. B. Dubois, Malcolm X, Stockley Carmichael, “Soul on Ice” etc etc. Growing up in a predominantly black neighborhood and all black schools gave me a unique perspective that most white males don’t have. I abhor racism. The only solace I take is that racists suffer from a mental disease that is rooted in self hate. Maybe you do have the same level of understanding on race issues in our country but most don’t.

Answer above your question. My bad.

the only part the agent negotiates in a rookie contract is the 4 year portion the 5th year is added by the CBA.
I doubt the agent gets any of the 5th year money. (although I havent verified that)

here is some tidbits on an agent & a rookie contract.

Why do players sign with agents now if this seems so easy?

My guess is you will see more and more players opting to do the research themselves into this process and avoid signing with an agent, though that doesn’t make it necessarily the right decision. Prior to the draft agents can help with prep work for the combine, workouts, and interviews, getting some media attention, and making certain to at least keep you in the center of team discussions. Agents can also help on draft day when things don’t go as planned to at least be a calming voice in the process since they have been here before.

There are also little things in negotiations such as salary splits, offsets, guarantee language, workout bonuses, and timing of payments that they will have a better understanding of. And if you are released they are there to try to find you a new job and make the arrangements for a tryout. They can also help you understand the little things that need to be done to stand out in training camp to maintain a spot.

Also while teams thus far have done everything by the book when it comes to draft salaries there is some leeway for teams to pay lesser amounts. Agents won’t let that happen.

So after reading this sounds like even though salaries for rookies are pretty much set. There must be some kind of loopholes for teams to screw over the rookies in some small way. Which is BS if you ask me.
but still the 5th year the agent has zero to do with & isnt apart of his negotiations. So I cant see how he would get a portion of it. That is all done by the CBA & their formula.

I’m sure they do get the 10% of that added 5th year.

they only negotiate a 4 year contract, so I cant see why they would get paid for something they didnt do. which is probably why your buddy said 4 years. Then the CBA adds the 5th year for the Rookie to sign.
So I dont see why the agent would get paid for the 5th year, since they were not apart of it. but again. I actually dont know if they get a kick back or not for doing nothing. If I were a betting man. I would bet the agent gets nothing from the 5th year. (they werent the agent of record for the 5th year)

1. Since the agent isn't negotiating the option I doubt he gets his cut.
2. Again it's the sagging I take issue with not the skin color.
3. A simple answer your question "What the fuck is a race traitor?"

This site man. I said I read on a Cowboy site that Jerry leaked this and that’s absolutely absurd yet you attribute it to me. If the tables were turned you know 100% you’d be doing the same thing. I said several times I’m sure this guy is just trying to get paid and this is all nonsense yet you still attribute it to me. Come on bro
Who felt the need to post it here (as did another Eagles fan in a different thread) as if it wasn't complete and utter BS? We all read a lot of stupid crap on the internet but most people don't post those dumb things here unless they think they are accurate or they just want to start crap.

Funny we say we doubt they get paid for work they didn't do, and Over The Top PE1 who has no way of knowing is CERTAIN they do.

The Cowboys finished 10-6 last year, but had so many close victories. Five of their wins were by four or fewer points, meaning their 10-6 record easily could have been 5-11 if they weren't so lucky. I expect Dallas to disappoint for a number of reasons on top of its natural regression:

1. Ezekiel Elliott is holding out. Even if he eventually reports to the team, there's a dubious history concerning running backs who hold out. It's likely that Elliott won't have his best season unless he returns to the team soon.

2. Amari Cooper was amazing for Dallas last year, but he often quit for the Raiders. If things don't go well for him, he may give up on routes and drop lots of passes again.

3. Cole Beasley is gone. Beasley was such a key third-down weapon for Dak Prescott. Just look at how poorly the Cowboys fared with Beasley being banged up against the Rams.

4. The offensive line isn't the same without Travis Frederick. There's a chance Frederick could play this season, but it's unlikely that he'll be as great as he used to be.

5. Jason Garrett continues to be the worst head coach in the NFL.

all decent points

With that said. I still think the Cowboys & Eagles go down to the wire to see who wins the division.

so they both stink:lol:
Well the Giants will be a dumpster fire & I think the skins will suck without Alex Smith.
With the skins retreads at QB not a chance & unless the rookie pulls a Dak dont see them contending.

So really it is just deductive reasoning.
