Lloyd's of London?

Yeah, sure but he hasn’t even made enough to cover the 150,000,000 premium he will sign for. Lloyd’s is very VERY expensive and I hear difficult to deal with if he’s able to play again like in RG3s situation

Wrong dopey. When have I ever said Dak didn't win a game because of his supporting cast. You spoke of STATS. Dak's stats were affected by those around him. Dak wins.
So even with the excuses you gave about his stats being middle of the road, his supporting cast was still good enough to win. Got it.

Dak won’t win without Zeek and I’m not knocking Dak.

Bro, no way. Philly is a very good team and that O runs through Zeek. I think Zeek is the best RB in the NFL and he makes it soooooo hard to play Dallas.
I guess we'll find out in a few months. His OL is back. His WRs don't suck. Defense may finally be good. I'm ready to see what happens without Zeke if he doesn't want to play. There are plenty of guys out there we can get. You can't let players take advantage of you. If Zeke wants to play he needs to get his ass into the building when the time comes

Screw him if he holds out. Stop getting into trouble, play out your deal and then come talk. Until then play or go the fuck home. The Cowboys can win the East without Zeke. At some point he needs to come back or he sits out forever. Don't let players hold you hostage.

Yes. Because of Dak. Try to keep up.

Seriously now, I think we all knew the Cowboys would eventually be faced with a tough decision: which franchise RB do you keep, Dak or Zeke?

Zeke the better player but QB is obviously the more important position easily. An easy choice you choose QB but they need more from Dak, not saying he isn't a good QB right now bc he is but for $20M+ a year he better be a top 7 QB

Exactly. RBs are a piece of the puzzle and that's all. If a QB holds out you may need to cave. Not a RB and not even Zeke.

You know, you have a good point. The D seems to be getting close to being excellent and there are stop gap RBs and not a really difficult position to fill but what makes Dallas a threat is Zeek. There are tons of good RBs but I’m enamored with Zeek more then most. Fucking kid is tremendous

He "won't". So that's a guarantee? Let's see what happens. The division is not good. No way I let Zeke force a new contract by holding out. You do that and then everyone holds out. You just screw yourself in the long run

Not saying I agree with Zeek totally but why should they play for what they signed. Owners always get rid of signed contracts and don’t honor them. Why should only the players honor the deal.

Zeke is amazing. Top 3 back in the league. But, it's a team game. Teams win games. RBs don't win games. They sure as hell can make it a lot easier when they are as good as Zeke, but with a good OL any decent RB can do good enough to win even if nowhere near as good as Zeke. I'd hate to play the year without him, but that would be his choice to make. No way I cave if he even threatens a hold out. You have to look at the big picture

I agree. I’m not agreeing with Zeek. He needs to wait another year to do this but Philly is good and Zeek is so incredibly special I think it really hurts Dallas.

Good point.
Personally I think Zeek is number 1. If I could have any RB in the league on Philly I’m taking Zeek in a nanosecond

Then why have contracts?

Heck look at Connors.... Proves your point imo... However, without Zeke I don't really think the Cowboys are that good however

Not every RB is as valuable to his team as Zeke is to Dallas. The Eagles, Pats, Falcons, Saints and many other teams use a RB by committee approach. They don't emphasize one lead back the way Dallas does, and are thus less exposed to any one player's contract demands.

But for Dallas...Zeke is a cornerstone player. Whether it is the run or pass, he makes up a large percentage of the Cowboys offense.

Absolutely it hurts Dallas. But every team gets hurt with injuries and the such. If Dak goes down the season is over. So if Dak held out I may fold if I'm Dallas. But not Zeke. Shame on him if he does this just days after his getting in trouble again was cleared by the Commish. The team just can't commit to him right now IMO.

I wonder why they drafted TWO RBs this year

I hear you but owners break contracts a hell of a lot more then RBs. You can expect only one side honor deals. If the owners always honored deals I’m with you, but they don’t.
