LeBron doesn't have time for defense anymore, he is 35, he knows he has readjust his game

well, then they should be fine...

according to the OPunk it's the surest way to build a winner...:D

Great thing is, Tanking doesn't automatically give you the best chances for the #1 pick any more. Just ask the Knicks.

They don't deserve to be on this list. Hell I have no idea who's going to be the opening day SF. Burks? Robinson? McKinney?

Also not even sure about center. Could just as easily be WCS as it is Looney.
Once Klay is back they do

Once Klay is back they do

Willie Cauley-Stein, Draymond, Klay, DLo, and Steph looks pretty nice as a starting lineup. I think they'll continue using Looney off the bench. Ron Adams turned down the Lakers job, so hopefully he can coach up DLo to be a better defensive player. DLo seems to have the physical tools for it, including a long wingspan.

Will DLo still be on the team by the time Klay recovers?

Who are the best starting lineups in the NBA?

Here are a few that I think are the best in the following order:

Clippers:
PG: Beverly
SG: George
SF: Leonard
PF: Harrell
C: Zubac

Houston:
PG: RW
SG: Harden
SF: Gordon
PF: Tucker
C: Capela

Jazz:
PG: Conley
SG: Ingles
SF: Mitchell
PF: Bogdon
C: Gobert

Sixers:
PG: Simmons
SG: Richardson
SF: Harris
PF: Horford
C: Embiid

Denver:
PG: Jamal Murray
SG: Gary Harris
SF: Will Barton
PF : Milsap
C: Jokic

Bucks:
PG: Bledsoe
SG: Mathews? (Hill or Connaughton?)
SF: Middleton
PF: Giannis
C: Lopez

Lakers:
PG: Rondo
SG: Green
SF: Bron
PF: Davis
C: Cousins?

Blazers:
PG: Lillard
SG: McCollum
SF: Hood
PF: Collons
C: Nurkic

Celtics:
PG: Kemba
SG: Jaylen Brown
SF: Hayward
Pf: Tatum
C: Kanter

Brooklyn:
PG: Kyrie
SG: LeVert
SF: Harris
PF: Prince? (weak spot)
C: Jordan

Spurs:
PG: Murray (now that is a helluva defensive back court)
SG: White
SF: DeRozan
PF: Gay
C: Aldridge

Mavericks:
PG: Curry
SG: Doncic
SF: Hardaway
PF: Porzingis
C: Powell

I sure hope Grant starts over Millsap...Millsap getting up there. And yes, Whiteside is the starting center in Portland while Nurk recovers from his broken leg. I'm sure you of all people would love that team.

Jarrett Allen still going to start for the Nets (this time at PF) maybe?

We'll see. I don't think it should be assumed that the Warriors are going to trade him this season. It's really nice having a star player who is only 23 years old, so maybe the Warriors will decide that they just want to keep him.

yah i am not that impressed with rondo/green/cousins as their supporting cast in the starting lineup.

LeBron and Davis is prob. the 2nd best combo in the entire sport for the upcoming year anyway, but i think other teams have deeper starting 5's.
I like Green.

He will hit some open 3's to keep the defense honest and he will definitely improve their defense.

But, Dude has never averaged 12ppg.

If he didn't last year in Toronto, he probably won't with LeBron, AD and Kuz.

Rondo can still get other guys involved. But, he's older.

Boogie?

Pick and roll, pick and roll, pick and roll.

Every time he's on the court as a defender, that's the play I'd run.

They'd be better off starting Mcgee letting Kuz and Boogie eat up 2nd units.

Yes. After he is back, maybe they trade him. I don't think anyone knows how it's going to play out, they will see how he looks in their scheme, and maybe keep him and put Klay at the 3
