So are you also saying the Cavs '16 title is invalid because of G.S. injuries & Draymond being Draymond & getting himself suspended? Wondering if this would apply due to your thoughts on Kawhi's 2 Finals MVP's.

Draymond was just one game, not as big of a deal. The injuries to GS were overstated and not nearly as devastating.

if the Cavs took the Miami strategy, and instead of tanking and gathering a ton of assets and young players, signed a bunch of mediocre ass-wipes LeBron was never coming back. He would have NEVER come back in a million years if he didnt think he could win. You need to take your head out of your ass.

James left Cavs in sign and trade.
What other possible option did Cavs have?
Its was no master plan.

Charlotte Hornets too. MJ is the GOAT of bad owners.

Historically true, but I think he did the right thing re: Kemba this summer. Locking him long term would do little for the team's title aspirations and would instead restrict growth elsewhere on the roster. Getting Dozier to replace him was a solid move too.

That’s a media award. Iggy won one too. Rodman should have won considering your qualifications of being a pest.

Kawhi was beyond a pest. That man was the best player in that series, sans Lebron.

The WC is going to be brutal but if Thompson returns by the AS or a little after, they could make a late push.....

Is he supposed to miss all season.....anyone?

True. I think he will take too long to get his rhythm back. It depends how many games back they are. My feeling is Curry will end up with an injury at some point from trying to do too much.

I just think your opinion of Kawhi is funny. You should start a thread about it. See how many people agree w/ you.

trust me. Arison was cheap. Miller, giving away first rounders to save money, not using the mid level exception.

LeBron took a discount and then saw the owner pocketing the profits and that made him skeddadle right outta town and leave the Heat in the state they are still in today--- IRRELEVANT.

Sort of like Cleveland?

how much you want to bet the Clippers win more titles in the next 10 years than the Lakers?

Dr. Buss aint coming back there slugger. You are left with Jeanie who thinks having Linda Rambis heavily involved is a good idea, and thinks Pelinka knows what he is doing.

Good ownership/management is crucial in the NBA. The Cavs are certainly not the Spurs---- but THANK GOD they are certainly not the Lakers either.

I'm not a betting guy, but that's enticing. I doubt the Clips win ANY titles with their current roster. Kawhi isn't an instant championship; he just so happened to join a Raptors team that needed exactly what he had to offer (and then bolstered that with Gasol, etc).

Explain why Pelinka doesn't know what he's doing? Exactly what has he missed out on?

Bro. There have only been 3 players to win a Finals MVP with two different teams - Kareem, Lebron and Kawhi. Kawhi's regarded as a top 3 NBA player and the best two-way player in the league. Every team in the league would trip over themselves to sign him. Dude has zero to prove. Anybody agreeing with Ryan Hollins should cut off their dick to make sure they don't dilute the gene pool.

I think Kawhi's pretty damn good. He's deserving of a top 3 NBA player status right now.

But the Lakers look pretty damn good on paper right now.

I didn't think he would be a worst analyst than he was a basketball player. Think he should consider going back into the NBA at this point....and I don't say that with positivity.

Somebody has to be the naysayer, otherwise the argument is boring.

If Kawhi would have signed w/ your Lakers you'd be signing a different tune. Okay gotta go.:heh:

Besides his resume, one of the greatest in any sport, he's paid $50-$100k as a motivational speaker.

So keep knocking him, but while doing so can you also get me a mocha shake, cherry turnover and order of potato cakes to go with my sandwich?
