Worst management/ownership groups in the league:

1. Wizards
2. Suns
3. Knicks
4. Lakers
5. prob. going Chicago--- maybe Minnesota.

Charlotte Hornets too. MJ is the GOAT of bad owners.

All 4 were basically no brainers in one way or another..
only one was a spectacular bust. Though he has proved to be more useful than Anthony Bennett- thoguh, the alternatives to Bennett were not really awe inducing (Len, Noel, McLemore, Gilbert wanted Oladipo but the FO thought he was too redundant of KI).

but overall, no surprise Beasley turned out to be what he turned out to be- great athlete, ten cent head.

I was thinking more like Kyrie or Wiggins or LeBron......or Michael Beasley...lol

Yeah, let me know when the next Lebron James rolls around. And ask the Knicks how they felt about their chances at landing Zion.

Maybe in a rec YMCA league, but the NBA is for big boys trying to win basketball games.

Its just crazy the mentality of losers, and how they justify it as a good thing.

Especially when the Cavs just finished a 19-win season.....and got the 5th pick in the lotto.

Lillard some how jsut wills them to wins- they are well coached and everyone thrives in their role.

Nurkic was really playing some great ball on both ends before he got hurt. McCollum is one of the best SG in the game. They had some solid versatile wing players.....

It does amaze me that they got to the WCF and as high as a seed as they wre though

id rather have RJ Barrett than any 2 Heat players thats for damn sure.

He is gonna be a bust. He will never live up to #3 pick. I mean he could be productive but for how they were talking him up....a bust.

I don't wish it on the kid just for me to be right..just not a fan

RJ Barrett's Summer League Stats Are Brutal So Far

He’s 7 for 33 from the field, with 10 turnovers and two assists in two games, playing 69 combined minutes. He did have a double double last game supposedly but he was 2 for 8 from 3. He is a cannon, one of those guys that is just going to never stop shooting no matter what...now if he was a great shooter that's fine but he isn't. I honestly hope he turns how to be a great pro though.

Yeah they would have kept Wiggins most likely but they had commitments from Hayward, Ariza and Frye...so obviously they were a lot better getting Lebron but they had a backup plan to possibly make the playoffs. Kyrie, Wiggins, Hayward, Ariza, Frye...is a good start

Hayward was an RFA back then. Utah matches and he stays in Utah.

His “commitment” meant nothing.

But I agree Ariza and Wiggins probably gets you to the playoffs in the East.

this is why i can respect Shane. least he's man enough to see his team's shortcomings...

He had his two best games of the year when Kawhi was out.

Brooklyn is going to struggle without KD.
Boston is going to have growing pains I'm sure adding a new #1 and losing their best defensive big.

The Raptors have the same roster minus Green and Kawhi.

Struggle?

They were GOOD last year with Russell and Irving is better than Russ.....I think they'll be a little better than last season and a legit contender with KD.

Forgot but they also added some good role players.....

Well without Hayward maybe they don't get to the playoffs but still improve. I think it depends how much CLE was offering, could have been a steep price, but yeah most likely in almost every scenario they match

ill bet it doesnt take them 7 years to win a playoff game. :pound:

but thats what you get when you have ownership/management like the Lakers do. I wouldnt call them the worst in the league---- that title is reserved for the Suns and Wizards and Knicks....but they are right there in that next tier....

unless you consider their "real" management Rich Paul and LeBron (which it probably is)- then they get a little bit of a boost. lol

How much you wanna bet the Cavs will never get 16 titles?

People can sleep on the Raptors all they want

If Siakam takes the next step, OG comes back healthy along with a deep defensive minded lineup that just won a ring

Raps were 17-5 while " load Management" happened last year. Will we miss #2? Of course. But this team will not lay down. Enough guys showed in the playoffs what they are made of

Big difference between a 17-5 regular season stretch and winning playoff series.
