The lengths you will go to are unbelievable.

Nobody ever said McGee was anything more than a body playing a role.

Last summer, I recognized that he could have a sizable role for the Lakers because they had very little big talent. I also realized that despite his flaws McGee tends to score pretty efficiently when given minutes.

You incorrectly analyzed the situation and said that you would “fly to Mars if McGee averaged 8 points a game”.

You were very wrong. And McGee’s value relative to other bigs around the league does not make you any less wrong. You clown yourself when you do this crap.

Wiggy was supposed to mow my lawn too...but I'm not really comfortable with him knowing where I live.

But wait, a cheaper contract means the cheaper player is trash (McGee), isn't that correct Wiggy?
i just think McGee kinda sucks- and i think Walton thought that too-

I mean, it sounds like Zubaca took McGee's job, and they dealt Zubaca because Mcgee was whining about it and the Lakers knew they couldnt afford to bring Zubaca back.

I just think McGee sucks and it doesnt surprise me that no other team gave him any kind of real offer.

So now you indirectly shit on guys like Thomas Bryant and Taj Gibson for no reason. Ever occur to you that McGee WANTED to stay with Lebron/AD and didn't accept other offers? The reason some of these guys were still available last Saturday for the Lakers to sign was for that exact reason.
yah i am sure McGee got offered a ton of money else where but turned it down to go back to a front court that has Kuzma, Davis, Cousins, and Lebron (who's best position is now clearly PF). Makes sense!

and nno one has answered my question?

If Mcgee starts, is he the worst center in the NBA? and if not who is worse? I could come up with Alex Len as a maybe.

If more did that, fewer would ask.

But the horse is out of the barn. They have the right to do what they want as FAs.

All the NBA can do is change the incentives, make the contracts favor staying put even more or something.

Make contracts 3 year minimum maybe, who knows.

Redneck central. I am a little hesitant but am going there so I'll let you knw. I will have a little free time while there so I will post on here and let you knw. I'll also post some pics....it has some beautiful scenery.

I live in North Florida. I think I can challenge you on that one right now.

McGee struggled with pneumonia through a good part of the middle of the season last year. Zubac (not Zubaca) got time when McGee and Chandler were both struggling with health. Zubac got moved for a stretch big with their eye potentially on the playoffs. Zubac would've been a solid prospect 10-15 years ago. He's outdated for the modern NBA until he adds a perimeter game and/or some athleticism/agility.

Incentives would help. If a player doesn't give effort or sits with phantom injuries, he starts to lose money.

Why would herro ever guard Garland?

For the cavs sake, it should be expected for him to have a better career. The 5th pick should always have a better career than the 13th pick but it doesn't always work out that way.

They're also being asked to do different things. Garland is basically being asked to save a shitty franchise while Herro is being asked to just play a role. We don't need him to save our franchise and be a superstar
Agree with your first comments, but You realize that "shitty franchise" lost Lebron, then made the Finals 5 seasons later, while Heat are now going into year 6 without him while having the lure of South Beach and the Great pat RileY?

funny part is with the Cavs about to suck for, oh... the foreseeable future, you would THINK that WiggityWack would be talking less shit...

but no, the boy presses on...

I admire his resolve...
To be fair, Cavs lost Lebron and made the Finals 5 years later. True, he's probably not coming back again but Heat are now in year 6 since he left and are a FA destination.

What point does this prove? That Lebron's that fucking dominant? If that was your point, then cool. But I don't know how this helps you at the actual topic.

With this logic, you guys should be back in the Finals then in about 5-6 years then, yes? Well take a year off of that, because 1 year has already passed.

Because......Lebron came back. I wouldn't keep trying to carry this as a point in an argument. If Lebron doesn't come back, I doubt you even make the playoffs (assuming you kept Wiggins instead of Love).

Yeah they would have kept Wiggins most likely but they had commitments from Hayward, Ariza and Frye...so obviously they were a lot better getting Lebron but they had a backup plan to possibly make the playoffs. Kyrie, Wiggins, Hayward, Ariza, Frye...is a good start

Someone help me out here, why would anyone argue that the Heat haven't really done shit in the 6 years since Lebron left (mind you, that we made it to the 2nd round in a game 7 with Toronto w/out Bosh due to blood clots) and reference your own team making it back in 5 years after losing Lebron, when you made it back BECAUSE LEBRON RETURNED TO YOUR FUCKING TEAM.

Hollis-Jefferson for the minimum was a steal.

Like Johnson, his offense never developed.

But, he can defend.
RHJ someone I avoid at all costs in 1 day fantasy as he is wildly inconsistent.....but agree a hell of a signing for the minimum.

That's fair. I just don't think dtgold thought this argument through. He's bragging about how Cleveland returned to the Finals 5 years after Lebron left....ignoring that Lebron returned to bring Cleveland to the Finals. Did Lebron come back to Miami at any point?

I'm going to need to see proof Lebron could have taken this Heat squad to a finals
