Really only Miami and Detroit make sense. Middling teams last year willing to go into the luxury and can make the investment.

I appreciate Russ would enjoy the Miami life moreso but it really comes down to which team gives OKC more.

I can maybe see Minnesota as an outside shot but with the West so stacked it feels like an Eastern team is most likely

Houston would be absolutely retarded to make this deal.

I feel like Miami is in a win win situation here.

Get Russ without trading Bam/Herro is a huge win for us. Not trading for Russ/watching the kids get better the next 2 seasons knowing that the plan is to sign one of those big superstars in 2021 is a win as well

Only possible L for Miami is if they give in and trade Bam or Herro

And staying in the league....wiggy promised heat fans he would be out of the league by now lmao

Hes still the only man in the world to jump from an NBA minimum to max in one year.
I expect him to be very good in Portland.

is he the worst starting center in the NBA? or at best top 3 worst?

is there a reason why he got a 2 year contract worth 8 million dollars?

Let me answer my own questions

1. yes- he is arguably the worst

2. There IS a reason why he got the contract he got- no one wanted him. its a funny little league the NBA but for the most part, players that teams actually want tend to get paid. Hence why a guy like Thomas Bryant or Zubac or even Taj Gibson got paid, while McGee was left with scraps.

its for a simple reason. Its because hes not a good NBA player.

Or he wanted to come back to the Lakers.....and understood he couldn't get as much since they had James and just traded for AD and were pursuing Leonard.....

Why do you care?

I don't.

Without reading that wall of text, I believe what my eyes tell me.

I said the Lakers roster was a clown car and I was right.

But, I was wrong in saying Mcgee would be the main culprit.

Guy was a model citizen.
2 years, 8 million

Russ has 3 young kids and is probably as much of a homebody is there is in the league. I’m sure he would like Miami though.
