Teams rise and fall...Nets and Clippers rising, Thunder and Raptors falling...

I'm still surprised that OKC acquiesced so easily to trade away PG one year after getting him to stay and sign an extension.

that special period between breakfast and lunch...

white wives make for good translators, bruh...:D

Late breakfast, buffet style typically. Also known as an easy way to overpay for scrambled eggs and toast.

Meal between waking up from hangover and preparing for next hangover opportunity.

Does that help?

Lol not really. I never drunk alcohol before.

Then why he won't just ask me out for breakfast or lunch? Some people man I swear... Always gotta make things more complicated than they should've.

I guess they didn't want to compound the mistake another 2 years. They saw how this team looked vs the other teams and knew they had no shot at a title with those 2 and being too cheap to pay a bunch of tax. So rebuild time. Probably the way to go.

If Wiggy becomes a Heat fan, we’ll all need to become drinkers

Actually I’m sure that based on how they looked before the all star break last year they thought they could compete if healthy but with all the teams getting better in the west it was too much. They prob decided they didn’t want to work with a guy that wanted out because they had seen that act from him before as well.

He played the Jazz with a rookie as their best player and Portland missing their 3rd best player.

They were expected to win both series.

Gutting the roster for Westbrook and most importantly getting rid of the young core would be a horrible decision for this franchise.

Butler/Russ surrounded by trash not getting anywhere
I don't think so either. Just need to ask themselves which gives them best chance, obviously. Make this deal, and they are pretty much strapped for a while.

Not sure it was "so easily". I'd say they got more for PG than NO got for AD, and Griff was called a genius by many for the deal.

All true, but not sure they dumped him "so easily". You think OKC or NO got more in their deals for PG and AD?

If Carroll gets back to being solid defensively, the Spurs are going to be really tough on that end. Love the Morris add, Murray was always a great defender, Murray, White, Walker, Morris, Carroll..they're going to lock teams down. Can't wait. They're DEEP too.

Note to all, I don’t have it in me just yet but at some point there will be a fairly large Thunder rant, then I will be ok. Just fair warning.

In 2011, the Spurs traded George Hill to the Pacers.

So far that trade has essentially given the current San Antonio:
Demar Derozan
Jakob Poetl
Demarre Carroll
Keldon Johson
Marcus Morris

and of course the 2014 NBA Title win as well from that trade
