Only area I disagree with you is the usual extreme of "significantly worse". Would have to think a team who gets significantly worse would not go from losing the ECF to being able to win it.

I do agree they are worse without Brogdon, though, as he is a solid role player.

Well,

If Kawhi goes West,

All the other players in the East will be “significantly worse” also. With the possible exception of Philly.

So, it is actually possible for the Bucks to be worse than they were and yet make it further if their completion is worse also.
