You are 10 games ahead as of this evening. How much of a cushion will put you at ease?

It’s gonna be 9,

Season isn’t even half over and we’ve lost 2.5 games in like 2 weeks

And our problems ain’t fixing themselves

How is he batting the rest of the time?? .219?:drum:

He is hot right now though, nothing more that you can ask for. I thoughtvhe was done but his power has come back (obviously never what it used to be especially opposite field) but it is a good sign, that’s all. I’m not expecting him to hit .280 or just be a beast but he can at least finish out the season as the starter if he keeps it up. One of my fav Indians of all-time

This has been the worst stretch of the season and the team is 10-9 in it's last 19. Cleveland beating up The Tigers and The Rangers for the last 10 days doesn't have me all that impressed.

The Rangers are good.....

They have the same record as the team who just came in Minny earlier this week and won 2 of 3

They play in an easier division than Boston and Boston got out to a terrible start.

They're fine, but I don't think that they are anything special.

They also don't deserve to be put in the same sentence as the Tigers.

They're obviously much better than the Tigers.

There isn't much difference between the Tigers and the Royals who the Twins and Indians played a a bunch of times in the last 10 days or so

Minnesota played KC 7X since last Friday while the Indians played Tigers 6X since last Friday.

Minnesota went 4-3 in those games while Cleveland went 6-0

If the Indians can get the lead down to 5 or so before the break (which they should based on their schedule) then we'll have a really good race in the 2nd half of the season

Twins play Rays, White Sox, Oakland, and Texas to end the first half. 3 of those 4 teams are over .500

The Indians play 11 games vs the Royals, O's, and Reds.

Great opportunity for them to cut into this lead

That only proves that Cleveland has been better than Minnesota the last two weeks when the Twins have been playing by far their worst ball of the season (thanks to a large assist from Detroit).

Yes, the Rangers are a decent team, but so is Boston.

If The Indians want to run down the Twins, they are going to have to play well in the 13 games that the teams have remaining in the last 3 months.

I agree BUT the Rangers are a pretty good team, they split the series.

The Indians have a what should be an easy stretch this week, 3 against the Royals and Orioles but they are 0-3 against the Royals. Indians bats need to stay hot. Their BP has been great this year, pretty surprising since it was a question mark coming into the season.
