The Twins couldn't touch Giolito today, so that rain actually helped make it interesting. Ultimately, our boys fell short though.

You really think the Twins are going to win 27 or less games the rest of the year? That defines dumbass.

Really? Since the offense has come back to earth and the injuries have hit we’ve played to a .400 win pct and seen our run differential plummet.

To finish below .500 we’d have to move that to a .341 win %.

So yeah, maybe a slight hyperbole.

But a “dumbass” or “troll”?? No. This team has serious issues. It’s on you to be smart enough to identify it.

You are quick to judge on small sample sizes, In June the Twins lost 3 series and that was the worst month that the team has had.

Cleveland got red hot and still couldn't get it within 7.5. And they couldn't capitalize against the mighty Orioles to 13-0 losses twice in a row.

They'll probably get it to 7 after tonight, but I'm not worried about that group running us down unless you think that they can go 10-3 against the Twins head-to-head. I sure don't.

If the Indians can rip off a couple more 8-2 runs, fine, I'll start sweating. But they just don't have that in them IMO.

I don't think it happens but it is definitely possible. It's a long season. I've seen the Indians some years play like they were going to win the World Series and then just absolute play like dogshit in the same season. But this is why baseball is the greatest sport ever...just frustrating as hell if it's your team going from great to shit.

Twins Territory is sweating big right now. I didn't think it would even get this close. Not an easy series with Texas, but hopefully some home cooking will help us at least get 2.

By the way, why do you have a random Friday off day 3 days before the break?

They keep having these two games series' against the Reds I really don't get it lol. Yeah, teams rarely or never get Fridays off.


To start the year - April 1st and 3rd - White Sox two games series.

April 23rd and 24th - Marlins two games series.

April 30th and May 1st - Marlins two game series. They got off Monday AND Thursday.

May 13th and 14th - White Sox two games series.

June 11th and 12th - Reds two game series. They got Monday AND Thursday off again.

I don't get it lol

I'd say you shouldn't even want a day off given how well your boys have been playing since the 26-0 debacles.
