And?

Things change when more information is learned. Your inability to grasp that is why you are currently living on Mars with one nut.
lol what changed in the last 6 weeks? I can think of one BIG thing. his team. if you can show me something different I would be stunned.

I already stated what changed. I watched Giannis get exposed and I learned that AD's injury history isn't as bad as I thought.

Really not sure what's so hard to understand. Just requires the ability to read and comprehend.

Not sure what there is as far "material". I looked at his stats, saw that he played in 75 games in 2016-17 and 2017-18 after not playing in more than 68 over his first 4 years. Really not that difficult.

Whatever point it is that you're attempting to make isn't working for you.

You should just drop it and move on, but you won't.

this was a good one--- from about 2 years ago---- but it is interesting:

Anthony Davis And His Truly Unfathomable Injury History
Anthony Davis And His Truly Unfathomable Injury History

In this world nothing can be certain except death, taxes and Anthony Davis injuries.

Davis added to his extensive list of ailments on Tuesday night in Portland while merely jostling for position with Maurice Harkless during the opening play of the game.

Davis has suffered more than 25 injuries (!) in just a tick over five seasons in the league.

He has injured almost every conceivable part of his body and looking at AD’s injury list is like looking at his Inspector Gadget arms: there’s just no end in sight.

AD-injuries-1024x717.png

The above screenshot isn’t even the entire list, as he also had a sore knee in April this year, and of course, injured his knee again in Rip City on Tuesday night.

As for the Brow, all the evidence suggests his body simply cannot handle the rigours of an 82-game season, and his leg buckling while preforming a simple post-up is perhaps the clearest indication we’ve had yet.

lol....yah.....i am 100% sure this would sitll be your opinion if Davis was still a Pelican. Cmon man thats from 2 months ago......

hey....whatever floats your boat.

That thread was from about 6 weeks ago and a ton of people replied.

I went through it, and the consensus top 5 to me seemed to be:

1. Durant
2. Giannis
3. Curry
4. LeBron
5. Harden

the names that showed up the most beside those 5 were Kawhi and Westbrook.

Davis and Embiid were pretty even after that it seemed-- which to me makes sense.

Plenty of people had Giannis as their #1 overall. I didnt see one person have Davis in their top 4
What's your point with this drivel anyway? On what planet do you think this can happen? Any can always come up with shit that looks better on paper, but it still leaves Cleveland out in the cold and hungry

I guess Giannis is your man-crush then? He can get there, but he isn't there yet IMO. Embiid is too high as well. I'll stick to my guns that Davis is definitely top 5 (and now that he'll be out of hiding, it will be evident).

i dunno...he won the MVP and had the best record in the NBA is 23 years old and his 2nd best player on his team was Khris Middleton.....going into next year his playoff experience should only help him- he is durable and not injury prone- he is a hard worker that isnt a whiner.

its my general experience that as players age they do not get healthier......from my personal experience watching the NBA, the older a guy gets, and the more wear and tear on his body, the more injury prone he becomes.......but hell....that is probably just crazy talk. I gotta stop sucking down those nitrous balloons. ---we'll go with your opinion---- guy gets older- he gets healthier! lol

so your conclusion was that as a player gets older he gets healthier?

Where did I say that?

His first 4 seasons he played in 64, 67, 68 and 61 games.

The next 2, he played in 75 each.

You can draw your own conclusion.

He came into the league at 19 and he is only 26. Perhaps he needed time to grow into his body and/or for his body to adjust to the rigors of the NBA.

Or maybe he's just had some luck with injuries over the past 2-3 seasons. But those are the numbers of games he's played in. I thought it was less than that.

So again, whatever point you think you're making, isn't working for you.

Giannis was also voted "the most desired player" during the league's GMs voting...

I guess what makes Giannis so unique, is his ability to play all five positions in the roster of any team in the NBA...

I guess by the time he adds reliable long shooting in his game (which he is getting there), he will be considered the "best player ever" in the game's history.

my own conclusion is that guys tend to get hurt more as they get older and that they dont get healthier as they get older. that may be a radical opinion, but what can i say? Its probably the accumulation of sucking down nitrous balloons outside of Phish concerts that has made me crazy.

Sure, agreed on most points. He was exposed in the playoffs however and drastically needs a reliable jumper to get to the elite level.

Giannis did miss 17 games over the last two years, while AD missed 14 games over his previous last two years (that weren't affected by being held out for trade purposes). AD has had a lot of nickel/dime injuries through his career for the most part.
