Dude you would be royally fucked and you know it.
That's what you said when Wentz went down and our backup came in in 2017. :noidea:

But you were wrong and Nick Foles lit it up in Pederson's system. Winning the Super Bowl in MVP style.:billb:

Says every team in the NFL if their starter goes down. If Baker Mayfield goes down the Browns turn to Drew Stanton.
True. If Dak goes down Dallas doesn't win 4 games. They are really not set up for him to be hurt at all

Yet you spend all your time crying on the eagles board. Learn to enjoy your team's success before it's too late instead of obsessing over the teams they lost to. Life's too short.
Crying?

Yeah you're not lost.

No one in their right mind would confuse me slapping around moronic horseshit eating Philly fans as crying.

Go take some midol and come back.

Poor little fella. Spends so much time throwing a hissy fit on the board of a team from the opposite conference.

Not intended to be funny.
Just pointing out facts that you sound like a wussy.
Have I ever posted on the Eagles board?
Wow just another swing and a miss by your less than masculine self.

You guys are the ones talking about prior years. I never brought this up until this year and I'm not sure any other non-Eagle fans did either. I'm not sure how prior years are pertinent since the topic is a new one. Most teams go through this exercise most years. But to pretend it's the same as prior years for Philly is not true. The magnitude of the cap issue is what is important. The magnitude of what they have shifted into outer years is what is the topic. What they did with their contracts this year to bring in FAs and resign their own was incredibly unbalanced. I posted it a few times using Jackson, Jackson and Graham as examples but it can be expanded to show players that were restructured like Ertz and others.

I am not sure how prior years are not relevant. It shows the teams history of managing the cap. The salary cap is nothing new it has been around for 25 years. I would use the very same argument if I was talking about the Cowboys. For a while there they have sucked at managing the cap but here recently they are just as good as anyone else. The reason why I would even suggest the Cowboys are in cap hell is not because of the way they manage the cap but because they have 3 top tier players due contracts at the same time. That is going to be hard to do but given their recent history I can see it being done. A teams history of manage the cap is a good predictor of how they will do in future years.

That unbalance will hurt down the road. As you know the cap hit you avoid in the current year does not disappear and it takes up a portion of future cap appropriations. It is only a matter of time before Philly will have to cut guys, not be able to resign guys, not be able to sign FAs or all of the above. The only question is when and how bad it will be. The longer they put it off the bigger the ultimate problem will be. But putting it off doesn't mean it isn't happening or that it won't be an issue. That's just burying your head in the sand.

And I disagree because it has not happened yet. That is why I asked the question when was the last time the Eagles were not able to resign one of their top players or to sign a free agent. I can't recall because it has not happened yet. If they target a player the seem to find a way to get it done. Yes the money will always come due when it pertains to cap hits but the Eagles are always under the cap when the season start.

We get it.... The Wentz has only played one full season. He has been injured the past couple years. However I doubt anyone will argue that when healthy he is an MVP caliber QB. The Eagles are taking are playing the lottery in hopes he will be healthy.

Correct me if I am wrong but wasn't his first the year they went to the SB???

No the Eagles went to the SB his second season. He was front runner for MVP when he got hurt in the Rams game at the end of the season. I believe they had the best record at the time in the NFL. He went down late in that game right after scoring a TD that gave the Eagles the lead. It was that play that got him hurt. Rams players hit his leg from each side.

Prior years aren't relevant because the problem wasn't to the level that it became such a huge topic of discussion. Again, magnitude is what matters. Dallas did have a huge problem because they did exactly what Philly is doing now and while it took many years to finally bite them in the ass, it did, and only great drafting has bailed them out and even with that great drafting they haven't been able to become the players in FA that they were before the problem.

Nope.

:nono:

Try some real facts.

Wentz left with a 31-28 lead after throwing his 4th touchdown of the day.

Facts.

I was right.
You were wrong.
AGAIN.

Rams retook the lead after Wentz left, thus Foles had to come back and win the game

So last year he was healthy, that is why had a losing record and only beat one winning team
