What party do you believe I belong to? Maybe you haven't been keeping up but I don't identify with either of these crooked political parties.

IM just going to point out that party affiliation is being used as cover in alot of instances here and in other places. Its mentioned ad nauseum that Democrats were actually the slave owners and Republicans freed the slaves. But patently ignored that the majority of hard right folks TODAY identify with the Republican party. And at the end of it all I dont think party affiliation is the issue, I think it runs a little deeper, but that also people are choosing sides, and todays republican party aint the party of Lincoln by a long shot.

Correct! In fact by today's standard Kennedy would be seen as a republican/conservative, Nixon with his creation of new departments a democrat/liberal. I've come to truly expect far better, more reasoned responses from you. To take what some people say to mean that it is representative of everyone is just plain silly.

Systematic racism does exist and must be eliminated.

When there's no high standard that must be met in order to qualify, then there's no incentive to be "good."

The issue with children is that they have been socialized into wanting to become small adults and forgo their childhoods. It's almost everywhere that you look now. It's in movies, television shows, that reality junk, and even in homes across the country. The way that we work in this country, politics, yes irresponsibility, and a whole host of things contributes to less attention on developing good next generation adults. I totally disagree with you that children "should Sometimes, just sacrifice their fun for responsibility." Adults (their own and all of us collectively) are responsible for their/our children until they are either able to be responsible for themselves, or systematically placed in institutions.

Setting educational standards much like other laws would yield the same sort of results, with most people falling in line and the minority trying subvert it. In the end the greater good prevails!

It isn’t representative of every individual opinion. It is representative of everyone because that is the system that democrats have created for us to live by.

I completely agree. That is why I hold my son to a standard far above society’s standard of everybody is equal. I teach him life is a competition.

The socialization you speak of starts at home and ends at home. Yes...sometimes children need to be responsible and do their homework instead of going to a party or playing games.

Educational standards are set and then reduced to accommodate those who are not at the level of the standard. Just look at the new adversity quota on the SAT, a standardized test. It is pathetic.

Riddle of the day: How does a democrat support the party that fought to uphold slavery which they abhor?
Answer: They convince themselves that they aren't "the same party" as back in the day.

Well the fact is as far as conservatives go it’s true . Only their accounts our targeted for banning with FB , Twitter , Instagram , you tube . And all you have to do with google is in fact google any major topic and it’s left wing labeled first and a hell of a lot of scrolling to you get to another view . These are now media outlets and censoring thought to sway to one political POV. Is wrong .
