Wow the same officiating crew that was horrid in our game against Detroit just cost New England any shot at making a comeback. Polamalu punches a fumbled ball about 12 yards into the endzone and they call it a safety instead of flagging Polamalu. How does that crew still have a job on Sunday?

We won as planned.... killed them in the first, but definitely took off and cruised in the 2nd... i felt that would happen if the situation presents itself.

4 Game lead in the NFC West now. How many more weeks until we have this locked up? The only thing that could stop us is posting a losing record in the division at this point.

Good job by the Browns hanging in there. That the goal line stand in the 2nd quarter kept this game from getting out of hand.

Niners just have to beat the teams they're supposed to beat. NY Giants, Baltimore and Pittsburgh are tough remaining opponents, but Niners should do pretty well in the other six games.

You mean the stand where Gore scored twice and got ripped off as many times? They got lucky on that stand.

A win is a win even though I would've liked to see us play a much better second half than we did. But we did get it together and put together a solid drive at the end.

Also I think you do have to credit the Brown's defense as they adjusted and played pretty well in the second half. So it's not like we struggled against a weak defense or anything.

I did enjoy the creative play calling and formations but I thought our tilt was a little to heavy on the run and it was clear their defense had made adjustments to counter it so I would've liked to see a few more passes called than what we had.

I thought we had a decent shot at the division but I didn't think nor do I think anyone else seriously thought we had a legit shot at a first round bye.

I agree Browns got lucky, but they also deserve some credit for not letting Gore just waltz in there. It was unfortunate for the Niners that there just wasn't enough video evidence to give Gore the touchdown on that 4th down play. I thought it was a TD.

Browns D was tough, especially considering how long they were on the field.

I expected the Niners to be better this year, but being 6-1 is way beyond what I expected. Great job by the staff and players. Just gotta keep the momentum going and hope for no major injuries. The apparent lack of strength by our division foes gives the Niners a serious chance at a first round bye.

I lovwd the first half but Harbs grew a Vagina once the Niners got a lead.

Hey, give him credit for going out of his comfort zone by trying to go for a TD on that 4th and goal play. I feel Harbaugh is too conservative, so I was glad to see him try for that TD.

Coach and Players seemed to be playing no to lose after the goal line failure. Couldn't get our edge back.

Exactly. When you get a team down you have to step on their neck. The 49ers played scared in the second half and it really showed. Against Dallas that fear cost them the game, they were lucky it didn't here.

Smith posted a 98.8 QB rating. I'd imagine he makes Warners top 5 QB's list again this week. He has not put up huge numbers, but he has been steady in every game. He's a huge reason why we are 6-1.

QB's like Brees and Brady may have better looking games, but they've also had some games were they cost their team or just did not look good. We've really yet to see a game like that from Alex. I'd like to see a 300+ yard 3 TD game from him more often, but I'll take 15/24 177yd 1 TD 0 Int and a win all season long.

i don't feel sorry for new england they got enough love from the refs over the years...they deserve to lose every game they play!
