I agree. The reason that I think they can keep a couple of the kids is that, if memory serves, the Pels didn't have a lot of interest in Lonzo.

Obviously, if you're the Lakers, you'd like to keep Ingram and Kuzma, but that's not very likely at all. But if they could keep Lonzo and Hart or Kuzma, and still get AD...that would be really good for them.

But, end of the day, you give the Pels whatever they want and hope that the addition of AD will entice another top FA.

Yeah, it was structural and corrected with surgery. He shoulod be ready by training camp. It's not a Chris Bosh situation.

The last thing in the world I want is for the Celtics to get AD but the Celtics still have plenty of ammo to get AD if they want to.

The Knicks also have the picks they got from the Mavs. If they wanted to, that would be 3 1st round picks plus whatever kids they wanted to offer. That is the best option if the Pelicans want to build a massive infrastructure of young talent.

Knox hasn't done much yet. I mean he was ok. Pretty good offer.

This seems to be a common refrain for Laker fans.

If the Celtics keep Kyrie and want to make a run for a title next year, then they make the trade. Honestly, I think most teams believe that once you bring in a player and they have success with the team, they will want to stay.
