All you have to know about this Portland team is they won 2X on the road with Dame shooting like shit

Impossible. The Trailblazers suck and Dame's going to cost them because he's such a shit player..

Yep, I expect every game to be close. If KD isn't 100% or like I said Dame/CJ both catch fire simataneously, the Warriors are in trouble.

And lol @ whoever said Clippers > Blazers, who was that?

Wait. Someone said the Clippers are better than the Blazers? For real?

It's not good, it's incredibly good.

Yup play .500 on the road in the playoffs while going 5-1 at home is likely going to have you playing basketball in late may/early June.

I heard Hood hyper-extended his knee and was in a lot of pain, that would be a big loss for Portland. Haven't heard of any updates...

GS is hands down the best team in the NBA. By a wide margin. I actually think in some ways their a better team without KD. They more much better without the ball, still have plenty of shooters... Hard to think they can lose a KD and not even have him be missed. There is no formula to beat GS at all. Just lace up the sneakers and play your damnnest.

That's what I have been saying...I mean when KD and the other guys are in sync they are deadly but he isn't a need, he is definitely a luxury. That's why if KD leaves they will be fine imo.

They could be "fine" as you say against today's competition in the West... But I doubt they would be "fine" against Giannis and his Bucks without KD, or against the teams that will merge to contend next season, after this up coming 200+ players free agency...

They would need more depth like in recent years without KD. The Bucks are playing like the best team in the NBA right now but I would say the W's are right there. It would be a hell of a series

Yes... I see this final coming up too, but I think my Bucks don't have more than 30% chances to beat the Warriors if they are fully healthy (as GSW is expected to be until the finals)...

But in any case, it seems to me that the Bucks were not planning to go for the title this season... It doesn't off course mean that they won't hit hard in the finals, but what they were doing all season, was "cleaning cap space" and adopting the roster so that each player has a different role and then all roster to work for Giannis... What I believe they will be doing next season, is that they'll take advantage of their superb financial status and their "state of the art" training facilities and arena and having positioned themselves to be "1st targeted destination" for free agents and players that are willing to be traded, they'll end up much better than this season... It's the reason why I said before that "the Warriors without AD" will be doubtful to be "fine" for next season...
This and then additionally, the other teams I expect to be merging as to be contenders after this upcoming free agency (Sixers, Clippers, Nets to say the least...)

I got the Warriors in 6. The Warriors get into funks some times and what I know about the Blazers is that they have no quit in them. It's entirely possible that the Warriors lead all 6 games at some point by double digits, but the Blazers still taking a couple games from them.

Even though Kanter will be a target in the Warriors offense for the pick and roll, he'll be the most skilled big scorer that the Warriors have faced this post season. The key to this series will be shutting down the 3rd and 4th options for the Blazers. It's what the Warriors did really well with the Houston series. Dame and CJ are gonna get theirs, but if they can limit the "others", the Warriors will have a good shot to represent the West in the finals, with or without KD.

If Portland is going to get a game from Golden State it's going to be, or have to be early if and when Durant is out. But a couple things to remember. No lead in the series is safe when playing Golden State. And no lead is safe in the WCF when it comes to Portland. This return to the WCF has a great nostalgia feeling to 2000, but it also brings back haunting memories of what could have been and what happened.

With Nurkic I saw the WCF as the absolute BEST Portland could do, and really I don't even think I'd guess them to be there had someone asked me 2 months ago if Portland would make it to the WCF. But now that they are here, I don't see them getting past GS with our without Nurk, so this was the best and furthest they could possibly make it.

I think with this run Portland needs to take a serious, serious look into how to actually make a legitimate step forward. They've proven they can get this far with this roster. Add a good 3 or 4 man and things could get interesting for Portland for the coming years because this IS the prime years of Lillard and you do not want to waste them.

Do whatever possible to try and keep Lillard, CJ and Nurk and add Anthony Davis? Davis or Nurk take the 4, the other the 5...Or who is out there in the 3 position that Portland can get, by trade or sign and still keep Lillard, CJ and Nurk?

Well they will most likely be spending that money on Middleton.

I hope the Blazers can pull off the upset. But I wouldn't bet on it.

I mean that is literally impossible. They won't have one of those guys making that trade and that guy would most likely be CJ.
