Neither. Rodgers doesn't play for either team.
Well in this instance I was telling the truth.
Do you honestly believe that everyone here is telling the truth? I get plenty of respect in real life and just like to post here to express my opinion and have fun. Who really cares if I'm posting from Texas, Wisconsin or the North Pole. You cannot regain any respect by defending your GNG'ing and saying "everybody lies"
Haha you're GnGing againDo you honestly believe that everyone here is telling the truth? I get plenty of respect in real life and just like to post here to express my opinion and have fun. Who really cares if I'm posting from Texas, Wisconsin or the North Pole.
I'm headed out to dinner with a super model.....Have a great night guys.......
No beer you say? What about Steel Reserve?Like anybody is gonna believe you? Back in my day we would call a guy pinncchio, now seems their is a new coin phrase out, slips my mind. I haven't had a beer in 20 years and been 15 minutes since I had vodka
I believe you misspelled HARPOONWOOD
This was never about what was done but how it was done.
And there is no rational argument that it's normal to give away the number of an 10 year NFL premiere player ...just 5 days after draft. (The Pack had the choice to give away his number 100 different way than this.)
It's was far from normal and it will never be normal. That was the Packers sending Matthews a message.
A message that they are really pissed about something.
If some feel that this was a non-story ....It's their right to say so.
But "how" this was done ... WAS NOT NORMAL.
.
Exactly, so WHY LIE???Do you honestly believe that everyone here is telling the truth? I get plenty of respect in real life and just like to post here to express my opinion and have fun. Who really cares if I'm posting from Texas, Wisconsin or the North Pole.

Agree 100%. What number someone wears is important to virtually no one except the players themselves, particularly after that player has departed the team.
Anyone remember the controversy surrounding Clinton Portis buying the rights to #26 Ifeanyi Ohalete's number? No? Does anyone care? No.
With 90-95 numbers available per team (due to retired numbers), roughly 90 players report to training camp. Even allowing for a few players having identical numbers, not all unretired numbers can be used. This is why there is a "ring of honor" for most teams nowadays, to celebrate great former players, but whose numbers were not retired.
Yep. Used to live in the DC area. Portis is still a hero there, but it was a mild bit of controversy that went against him. Ohalete was, as you said, a crappy safety, but Portis screwed him over a jersey number.I can't believe any fan outside of Washington would remember Portis buying the number from some random, bad safety. I remember it because Portis stiffed the guy, who was later cut and needed the money, and only paid when he was sued. Dick move.
Honesty, Integrity, character...Why not?
