So far 13 runs in the bottom of the 8th. Watching the TV broadcast they say that is the most runs the Brewers have ever scored against the Cubs in Miller Park. They said they had 12 a few times. And it is nice to see a lead larger than 1 run.

The way it went late in the game it appeared they needed all of them

Lol...again, another poster stating shit they know nothing about...that's what will get me to post...your idiocy and bullshit postings with absolutely no basis to stand on

You realize they call this God's country?

Well, if they call it God's country (whoever they is) you live in the wrong part of the country since you seem to be light years away from knowing who God is.

Yup, but what exactly does that have to do with this year?

Great point BUT rest as ease since scoutyjones knows everything about everything and will direct us all properly. With a leader like that how can any of us fail?

Did you read the quote I responded to?

Anyway, Cards shildt the bed. Using Reyes on the MLB roster is a huge mistake...evident by today. Should have been tooling down in AAA because he has hardly thrown any innings over 2 years.

Apparently still learning the hitting style their coach preaches, and it's getting uglier. Yadi batting 071 and doesn't even attempt to block a pitch in the dirt, which leads to runners moving up and later one of them scores.

Amazing intelligence from someone who lives in the middle of nowhere. I'm impressed!

Care to discuss baseball or is your infatuation with me just too powerful to overcome? As flattering as your obsession is, it's also a bit unsettling

Didn't the brew crew rocket out of the gate a few years ago, and then never did 500 ball by any other month and missed the playoffs?

Check out The Brewers Team Streak. 1987. Started the year winning 13 straught. Had a 12 game losing streak in May. Seen it all before.

1 for 6? Damn it man!

Thank goodness it’s not a 10-game season. The Brew Crew are good…Congrats on a great start!

I sure am glad to see Mo used the off season to fix the bullpen. My gawd the relievers suck, no that the starters have done mmuch better. Holland last year, Miller this year.

Just heard tha Reyes and Munoz sent down with two pitchers possibly coming up. That leaves them with a short bench, but the way the starters haven't been getting to the sixth inning, more relief help is warrented.

I'm not a fan of chasing after pitching, especially free agent releivers, in the offseason. Relievers vary too much, year to year...stay with homegrown talent. And you can't have just one LH pitcher on your entire staff

That is the prevailing wisdom but then the Brewers are using just a 4 man bench with lots of pitchers. You have to build a roster than reflects the strengths and weaknesses of your team. Milwaukee doesn't have 7 inning starters, therefore they need more depth in the bullpen rather than 3 utility infielders

The awful part about Holland is that as soon as the Cardinals gave up on him then he was the good reliever again.

Miller has been trending downward unfortunately but even by those standards he has been a bum
