You win a lot of 3-2 games and lose a couple of 11-2 games and you get that.4 of 5 teams in the NL Cenral has a positive run differential. The team with the negative differential is in 1st place. Go Brewers.

Yep. Small sample sizes get weird results.
Wow, he should be made fun of and hounded for that shit for a long time. They lost the game by 1 run too. Idiot player.
That isn't what beat the Reds. It was Clayton Kershaw. Castillo never makes contact.Wow, he should be made fun of and hounded for that shit for a long time. They lost the game by 1 run too. Idiot player.
Yeah, but he had a hit if he ran to first. It would have been a runner on first with 1 out and the top of the lineup batting next. That could have made a huge difference in a 4-3 game. That isn't what beat the Reds. It was Clayton Kershaw. Castillo never makes contact.
You make the assumption that Kershaw was somehow going to unravel after that.Yeah, but he had a hit if he ran to first. It would have been a runner on first with 1 out and the top of the lineup batting next. That could have made a huge difference in a 4-3 game.
I wouldn't assume Kershaw would unravel, but having a player at 1st with your top of the order up is as good as you can ask for against him. He probably would have gotten out of the inning, I agree. But it sucks to not have the opportunity. Anytime you can get the #9 hitter on with 1 out is a good opportunity. You make the assumption that Kershaw was somehow going to unravel after that.
LC didn't even know where the ball was after he thought he fouled it off. What you don't really get to follow is that even the camera man didn't see where the ball went ... finally out of some conclusion, just happened to see it land in right field.
The difference in the 4-3 game was the 2-run homer in the 9th.
LC is becoming an ace pitcher. His hitting will always be a joke. Having the guy on 1st base is an insurance risk that Allstate would avoid.
Minimizing stupid plays is always good but in this case, it's just amusing. Kershaw was dominant.
yeah, I agree but in this case, it was funnier than it was boneheaded. I doubt LC lives it down. He's just not any good at the plate. To think he's even remotely able to hit, nah ... I think he got a double last year.I wouldn't assume Kershaw would unravel, but having a player at 1st with your top of the order up is as good as you can ask for against him.
