Ya know folks... I cheer for Tarana, everybody knows that but this here was hard to watch. I bet YOU like them and everything like that but I KNOW HOCKEY. Here they are, lost to Boston. 6 games..easy just like that. Easiest 6 games the Bruins have ever player. EVER PLAYED. No hitting at all .. AND NO FIGHTING. I'll tell ya I knew they were gonna lose in game ONE. Can you roll Marchand? Look at this Marchand.. corks Marner.. little crosscheck to the face.. HAHAHAHA nothin' wrong there, it's the playoffs, eh? But what does Jonassson do here? HE SKATES AWAY FROM THE WHOLE THING!! GUTLESS!! What's that? He score... I DON"T CARE!! You stick up for your teammate.. no matter WHAT!! Now you treehuggers will say that " oooh, Johanssberg scored AND Marachand got 5 minutes and we scored twice on the man advantage.. ooohh.. how sexy" and all that. DOESN'T WIN YOU GAMES!!... Can I talk here? I know they won 6-1 but they still lost the series. Because Marchand knew they were gonna be easy games. Look at game 6, here from the red line in it goes, Andersen has no chance. Not enough tough players on the Leafs.. like this Greaselick for Boston; not the biggest guy but he's TUFFFF..Look at this here, gets it out... Can't skate too good, eh? but off the glass. We need more players like that. I've been sayin for years that we need Colton Orr back and all you...such and such...no one listens. Look at him there, works at a gas station now, in Manitoba eh, but he's ready to go. Prairie tough. Then every year we get pushed around by rats like Merchant and Gorestick from Boston. It's a shame folks 'cause Toronto's a great team. Alright, what's next. BRENNNT BURNS LET ME TELL YA.....

My wife asked me last week during Coach's Corner to explain Don Cherry's background and qualifications for being an NHL coach and now commentator. I started with "he played 1 NHL game in his career", she rolled her eyes, and it didn't get any easier for me after that.
