Calhoun had good day also.A good outing for Lynn today. Five very good innings and then he gave up two runs without getting an out in the 6th.

Yes, he did.Calhoun had good day also.
I wonder if we would have still taken Dillon Tate even if we would have had a shot at one of those 3 SS?
Not sure if Tate was a development problem as much as he was a drafting problem.I remember thinking we would either have gotten Rodgers or Bregman. Tate has never amounted to much so far but to me he was the lynchpin for the Rangers to admit they needed to revamp player development re pitching
Kind of has a Profar ring to it. Quit bringing in guys that were blocked the first day in camp. FO knew with the Choo situation Willie likely would be blocked.Yes, he did.
I wonder if we will ever make room for the kid even if he hits .360 in Nashville over the next 3 months?
If it's about youth movement then he should play. The older guys they bring in are not the Rangers future.Yes, he did.

They can't help themselves, it seems. If it's about youth movement then he should play. The older guys they bring in are not the Rangers future.
The resurgence of Brett Martin is a significant development for our future. He seems to have really benefited from that training he went to in the offseason.

This is from Evan Grant and not me so don't shoot the messenger. lol
"What's left to decide: What's the best choice for a backup infielder? Move your starting third baseman around the diamond or choose from two guys (Forsythe or Danny Santana) who are not shortstops by nature. Neither are they first basemen, though Forsythe made 15 starts there in 2015. Forsythe probably gives you a little more trustworthy infield protection. Santana gives you a switch hitter with some speed who can also move to the outfield when necessary. And Santana is three years younger, which should be a consideration for a rebuilding team because he might still have an upside. You know what would be perfect? It might make some sense to check the end-of-spring waiver wire, too. Maybe Hanser Alberto will be placed on waivers for the fifth time since the end of last season and be available for a reunion."
He didn't seem to be.He has to be joking
Trade first. Can't see the ownership eating 20+MDoes anyone think we should pay Choo's contract off after this year. He continues to get in the way of our younger guys re: Calhoun or continue to somehow trade him first?
