“I think [the president] respects people with principle,” said Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah)...

You know, it seems to me that we don't need to be afraid of brown people as much as we do Right Wing white ones.

What the fuck are you talking about??!?

He said brown people; where in the hell did you get religious fanatic from that??
I assumed he meant we should fear the one out of one million right winger who goes on a killing rampage more than the one out of one million brown person who goes on a killing rampage, to which I reply that I am pretty shit-scared of both class of killer.

Because if it's anything other than that, that's just fear-mongering of another kind and just as dumb as fear-mongering based on race.

Yeah because numerous people have gone on rampages accompanied by manifestos that proclaimed they did it because they're brown. I must have missed that one.

I'm no fan of Scheer, but Ezra Levant is the one who needs to go far away in my opinion. That guy is the Canadian Steve Bannon.

What else could be inferred by "brown people" when discussing a terror attack on a mosque?

Maybe the millions of people that immigrate to our countries that are victims of terror attacks and have no interest in being violent or espousing violence?

People that come from pretty much everywhere but Europe who have no desire to hate or kill or other people?

Do you really just automatically equate brown people with religious fanatics?

In the context of "we should be afraid of" and in relation to violence, yes, in 2019 after 25 years of an incessant terror campaign against the west I do indeed associate radical Islamism with violence.

Also, after 25 years of bombings and shootings by right-wing nutcases, I also associate radical conservatism with violence.

OP did not mention anything about terror victims or immigrants. Please don't put words in my mouth.

So you DO know that all brown people aren't radical Islamists right?

Nowhere in the OP is Islam even mentioned. He mentions BROWN PEOPLE. He did not mention victims of terror or immigrants, hence my "maybe". But he also sure as shit didn't mention radical Islamic terrorists.

The fact is that you read "brown people" and assumed he was talking about ISIS for fuck's sake. You know that Mexicans are pretty brown? Guatemalans? Cherokees? South Africans? Nepalese?

And I'm the one putting words in mouths. That's rich.
