Not the ones who can handle the ball well. Kyrie did OK with him.

But demanded a trade away from him, as he felt he couldn't utilize his full talents (which apparently are to bitch and moan, on display in Boston currently).

Well, we didn't see much growth from Ball going from year 1 to year 2. If you're making the argument that he's not a bust at the position given that he's the #2 pick, maybe point out things he's improved on. He's a solid defender, but not much else. Also, for a guard, how do you shoot below 50% from the FT line? How does Shaq have a better career FT% than a guard?

The stats aren't going to show it, as someone named Lebron joined the team, as well as Rondo, both of whom took the ball out of his hands a lot more than last year. He was noticeably stronger and able to withstand more contact around the rim. This year wasn't the best example until later in the year, just before his injury. Early on, he was slowed by recovery from off-season surgery and learning to play with Lebron. As the year pressed on, he was getting much more aggressive offensively, taking the ball to the hoop much more often and shooting more confidently. Sucks that a severely turned ankle stopped that progress in it's tracks.

So Ibaka reacted like that because Chriss said "Quit that shit".

The NBA is a joke for only suspending him 3 games

He didn't land any of those punches, so all he really did was grab a throat and flail wildly I guess?

NBA fights are pretty entertaining. It seems the vast majority of these guys have no idea how to throw a punch...

Basically you can see Dorsey is looking at a three year balls to the wall push until Baker gets paid ala Russell with Seattle.

Not having to pay the QB big money is a huge advantage. And they have a good RB on a rookie deal and their best corner and pass rusher. I mean those are high dollar roles.

Make it rain on free agents and then hope you can find good draft choice steals to build depth next few years

That's what you have to do in the NFL; take full advantage of that QB rookie contract to load up for a push. Couldn't do that as often under the old rookie pay scale. Bradford got what, $15M his rookie season as the #1 pick?

The Browns were uniquely positioned with a stretch of futility and high draft picks that kept their salaries down and the roster young. They are positioned very well now.

He is a frequent offender. 5 games should be the standard for him anytime he gets in a fight now

Yes.

A good team. Nothing special.

They bring that exact team to the playoffs this year and the best case would be a 2nd round exit.

East was hot garbage last year. Every team had major flaws. It is much better this year at the top.
Toronto had the same record last year. Indiana with Oladipo probably as good as the current team without him. Milwaukee a lot better but hard to say they are better than last year's Cavalier team.

Record not showing it, but would think Philly is better.

Not sure how East was such hot garbage last year compared to this one.

I would have thought the same....I cannot believe they kept that game close. Glad they didn't pull it out, of course.

so great to not be among the bad teams overpaying FAs to try and be mediocre.

Hope the "haslem is cheap narrative" by some will finally end as they see the plan worked.

Exactly!! This is why the Browns were smart to wait, suck, and save the money for when they needed it.

Is it September yet?

Ok...but that doesn't mean guys who can play like Kyrie cannot have success with Lebron.

Kyrie's a bit of a nut if you weren't aware.
