so wait centers make more than guards, safeties, cb's. rb's? All taken higher in the draft than centers? hmm @PhoenixEagles1 says this info is false, and will soon change his narrative

Looks like Centers are the 5th highest paid position. Pretty well paid for not being important.

2018 cap wise according to spotrac

Avg. Cap of starting DEs
only 2 teams averaged over 10 mil.
Dolphins at 10,534,706
Chargers at 10,465,730

Starting Centers
3 teams
TB at 12 mil.
Falcons at 11,050,000
Steelers at 10,551,000

BTW further investigation of the useless Centers vs. the other linemen.
Average cap implications for starters in 2018.
Zero teams has guards avg. over 10 mil.
2 teams has an avg. cap dollars over 10 mil. for tackles. Cowboys & Chiefs.

Not bad for lazy unathletic Centers you can pick up at the grocery store.

Hey @PhoenixEagles1 what do you make out of this?

Because the money is averaged between 2 players at Center there’s just one. If you have on C making 8 and one DE make 12 and one making two it averages to less then a Center. That’s why.
