congrats on getting Barnes

he is exactly what the Kings needed. Great acquisition- and he only has next year left on his deal so its not like its a huge risk.

who are these Kings? used their cap space and manuevered to get a young, talented, but enigmatic SF to add to their core.

i think it was nicely done by the Kings. Gives them a fighting chance at that 8 seed.

I think they'll still start Belly but a bench including Bogi/Bagley/Giles/Burks is good for some offense and playmaking. The defense will need to improve but I think talent wise the team is better now than it was yesterday. I'm happy it's not a long contract just in case they could get a top FA SF, but I'm not expecting that.

Kings sucked tonight, unfortunate but not surprising since they were making trades and having less players to use because of it. I really hope these moves work out to get into the playoffs, the Mavs and Clippers should fade but I won't count them out yet(although LAC has good reason to miss the playoffs). If they do then it's 5 teams in the mix for the final 3 spots, Spurs/Jazz/Kings/Lakers/Wolves. Jazz get in because of their schedule and Pops will probably get the Spurs in, that would leave the other 3 for 1 spot. The edge imo still goes to the Lakers because of LeBron, but these trades should help the Kings' chances. Wolves might not make any big moves but they're still a tough team.

I know it was the Spurs B team, but Klay was 11-13 with a ton of fast break layups where he dribbled all the way down and scored. He's not some spaz, he can handle the ball fine for a 2 guard.

He and his camp have botched this AD and Luke Walton situations pretty badly so far, especially the AD part. If they really wanted him in LA, it would have been better for him to say he wants out in the Summer but after Boston or other teams had made other moves to lock in their rosters (think how like Kawhi got traded in late July). But trying to bully their way into now just pisses everyone off and gives New Orleans less incentive to give in.

I dont know if White, Derozan, and Aldridge win....probably not....but this was the worst mismatch of the season.

This lineup would have lost by 10 to the Knicks.
Went pretty much as expected.

We have gotten to a point in time where trades and free agency are a bigger story than anything that happens on the court. That is our fault as much as it is the media's because it is what we talk about.

But it is a really terrible look. While the season is going on, players have to be focused on basketball. And all of this stuff is distraction.

It has never been anywhere near this bad before.

If he signed a longet deal with Golden State last summer then he wouldn't have to worry about this.

He is a top player who will be a free agent this summer. Media and fans are going to talk about possible destinations for someone who will be a FA in less than 5 months.

Should have found a different profession if the media bothers him so much. Thing that annoys me with KD is this isn't the first time he is bitching to the media about something.

Sorry KD but as a top player, the media are going to talk about you a lot.
