For an AD/LeBron combo, I'd be willing to trade my own grandmother.

Would definitely be easier to tank for Zion without Anthony Davis on your team. :noidea:
Give them everyone.

Kuz, Ingram, Ball, Zubac and picks.

You get Davis and have room for another max guy.

Seems pretty simple.

Lonzo and Ingram make the most.

They have to go.

He’d look really good on the rockets, but that has zero chance of materializing.

Its LA or Bos. Im trying to think if any other team could put together something realistic for him...hmmm...
Before the deadline, Lakers.

This Summer, Celtics.

I wouldn't say that Ball or Ingram are busts but their trade value has definitely declined.
Financially, they have to give up Ball and Ingram unless they get another team involved.

They make the most.

It will be difficult for the Celtics to make a trade for AD.
Why??

Kyrie is a FA at the end of this year. C's have a bunch of draft picks and would be more than willing to trade a couple of players and picks. They've been after AD for the last two years. The Pelican can hold out for the best offer and not deal him. He's not going to sit out for two years.

Hard to believe New Orleans would be in a rush to trade AD now when they know the Celtics can make a BIG offer this summer.

Seems rather obvious to me that AD is a better trade asset for them later (this summer) as opposed to right this very minute.

We'll see, of course.

I am referring to making a trade before the deadline. They would need to move Kyrie in such a deal.

I agree. The only way I could see the Pels make a trade before the deadline is if a team came in with a MONSTER deal which is unlikely.

I just dont see him in a Lakers uniform as anything but a relative long shot.
I might be wrong, but it really doesnt make a lot of sense.

New Orleans is not going to trade him now to LA unless the Lakers give every asset and gut the team for years.
New Orleans can get much better returns in the summer.

The same Lakers deal will likely exist in June, plus they will also be able to get Celtic deals to start a bidding war.
And if Boston wins out, the earliest he can get out of Boston is in 2 years to sign with the Lakers.

Lebron would be turning 36 in year one if that happens.
The appeal of signing with LBJ for years 36-40 is not quite the same.

It is entirely possible the Lakers dont get a single elite player ..unlikely but possible.

No way New Orleans wont get a better offer than that.

The Lakers young crew won't have a lot of takers league wide....and almost no value to a team looking to rebuild.

Hell Ball is close to entering negative value territory. I doubt the Lakers would even get a first for him if they started to shop him. Young player who doesn't contribute to winning, an incredibly low ceiling because of his lack of shooting, the circus that follows him, and an oversized contract. He is the type of player that gets GM's fired.

You can make a pretty good argument that New Orleans would be better off letting him walk than taking back a Laker's offer. Start "the process" from scratch and don't tie yourself down to young, low ceiling guys.

Actually, I think it would only be for 1 year. I believe he has a player option for 2020.

So, the question would be, what will the Celtics be willing to give up for him if Rich Paul makes it clear that he will opt out after the season and go to the Lakers.

Markenen, Levine, whoever else’s they want, and their first rd pick. Have plenty of cap room to sign another max contract. Bulls won’t even make a courtesy call because management has been in love with their talent for 15 yrs

Has AD ever publically stated... or even hinted... that it's Lakers or bust... eveyone else, back off... (or whatever)... ?

Honestly, this is kind of what NO deserves for naming themselves the fucking Pelicans.

No. Laker fans just always assume that everyone wants to play for their team and no other team.

Given how little time is left before the trade deadline I think it is very unlikely that he gets traded in the next week. A team would have to come in and absolutely away the Pelicans.
