It doesn't matter if they COULD have overcome it, the point is the refs blatantly made a horrible call and yes, if they make the correct call the Saints are in the Super Bowl. The Saints put them themselves in position to win the game with basically no time left on the clock. It is what it is...which is rigged. I mean I am not even a Saints fan, it's just hard to ignore watching a clear cut call like that being ignored

i dont know what your 2 points were but i assume one is the facemask on goff. even if they score first and goal there they still only up 4. saints get the pi call and they are first and goal with under 1:50 to go.

Whether it is one ref or a collection of officials...this year has been one of the most horrible officiated seasons that I remember in the NFL. It doesn't have help they keep changing the rules and are basically playing flag football but that call would have been a penalty in any era and the ref was right there. Someone is dirty. Getting the Rams to the playoffs definitely helps ratings
