I think it was just a reboot. I saw it. It was just meh.

It was a reboot. Worthy of a few chuckles before it's over, but barely watchable for the most part.

Well, Harold Ramis (egon) died, so it at least won't be the full original cast.

It wasn’t as god-awful as some Internet trolls made it out to be but it was an average movie, not worth all the hate it got.

Oh I thought it was that awful. Easily one of the worst movies that I saw of 2016 in my opinion.

It's unbelievable that they could have 4 VERY FUNNY WOMEN, and the movie be so completely devoid of humor. It was awful.

The only parts that even had the tiniest semblance of funny, was Hemsworth's character and the fucking delivery boy.



Again, very funny cast, that were all cast as the same person, and weirdly unfunny.

Agreed. Apparently they didn't think they needed a script. Ghostbusters II sucked too. They should give it a rest.

McKinnon is hilarious, but so far only in the context of her SNL characters. I've never found her all that funny in any of her movie roles, but I blame the material.

I'm not intending on ever watching the 2016 movie. Just like how I will never watch the Steve Martin Pink Panther films.
