Does most teams (not all) of the sec East just pad their win column with cupcake wins.

The sec East was 2-4 in the Bowls this year.

The Bowls is where after a successful season you are rewarded by playing another quality team that is Bowl worthy to see how you measure up...

The sec East was 0-3 against Big12 Teams... which make matters worse.

--- You remember sec fan likes to point out that the Big12 plays no defense and can not compete with the sec teams (or that is what they say the rest of the year)

6 out of 7 teams from that Division made it to the Bowls … how is that even mathematically possible???

--- Well they play only 8 Conference games which leave them 4 games to schedule any way they want --- and it appears that every sec team pulls a "Florida" and plays at least 1 FCS team + most will grab another cupcake or 2 and magically making them Bowl qualified --- but it appears all are not Bowl worthy...

but it doesn't matter they each take their Bowl payout pool it and divvy it up among all sec teams … then they tell everyone how great they are (see DR's posts as to how hard it is to play in the sec east)

when in reality sec east is 0-3 against the Big12 (and sec over all is 1-3 against the Big12) …

It’s a two hour stroll. Stop acting like it’s an impressive feat when you don’t have to worry about time zones, plane travel and even multiple day overnight stays. All things that can contribute to a teams play. You have played 3 P5 teams OOC away in the last 20 years. Stop honking your horn like it’s impressive.

An actually traveling more than two hours doesn’t mean the win is good but it’s the toll it can take on a teams play. An a struggle it can be. You clowns using FSU like it’s some kind of feat when it’s just a convenience doesn’t mean your OOC is great.

Distance does not matter and is not an advantage for anybody on a 2 year home and home contract - stop acting like it is some kind of advantage.

We have played well over 3 P5 teams OOC in the last 20 years. Each program fields a different team each year. How is it you fail to understand this? We've played more final ranked OOC opponents than all but a handful of other schools in the country - most definitely including yours and Texas. Stop pretending that quality opponents is not what matters - that's the only thing the selection committee or various SOS formulas take into account.

We don't get the right to count the ranked opponents we play?

Air miles do not matter. Time Zones do not matter. State lines do not matter. Why is it you cannot seem to understand that nobody who matters ie those who make strength of schedule formulas or those who sit on the selection committee gives the slightest shit about those things?

Oh and trying to compare UF's OOC schedule to some mythical OOC schedule in which a program schedules 4 tough OOC games.....which nobody does....is simply ridiculous. We can only compare one program's OOC schedules to others OOC schedules. By that measure, UF plays more ranked OOC opponents than all but a handful of other programs in the country.

Oh and its 4 games vs miami and one vs Michigan with another scheduled against miami next season in 20 years.....so 6 times playing a second OOC heavyweight in that timeframe.
