I don't think that's accurate. He's had a propensity for crapping out in crunch time... this year he hasn't. So I would say he's been a great QB this year. Merely good to very good at spots for most of his career.

Team game though, QB can't play D, or catch what he throws, it's not alway on the QB.. BUT if you do have everything in place the QB can certainly screw it all up ... But I don't think looking back Rivers has ever been apart of a great Chargers team... I think there best team was 94 when they met the Niners in the Super Bowl ...

thats crap. rivers had the #1 D in the league for a time literally, also had gates, and LT in their prime.........with that D........he had great teams
