So who are the QBs in the draft?

Justin Herbert, Oregon. Pretty widely considered the top guy but rumored to be returning to school. Also if he does come out pretty much a lock for a top 5 (or 1) pick that we won't have.

Dwayne Haskins, Ohio State. Probably the best chance to push Herbert for QB1 status. But also likely to stay in school. Maybe Meyers retirement will change that.

Drew Lock, Missouri. Seems like a guy being pushed up because he might be the top guy by default. Good arm supposedly but not sure he's really all that good a QB.

Will Grier, WVU. Leads a wide open WVU offense but not sure he has the arm to be a franchise QB. Interested to watch more of him though. Draft folks seem to be pretty down on him but WVU folks are convinced he's the next big thing.

My honest thought, unless they are planning to fire Gruden, let JOhnson play out the season. See how he does with the line we have and the WRs we got. If he does well, sign him to a three year low risk deal. Draft a QN in the 2nd (lock if he is there) And swallow the hit for Smith if he retires.

The only way we should be looking to trade up is if we are doing a total rebuild.

Maybe you missed it with all of those Giants fans in our building, but just after the Giants scored their first TD, the defense looked at Mark Sanchez and there was a collective "FUCK IT!" by our defensive guys!!

Today was a disgrace. But this defense really hasn't been good all year. Just lucky more than anything.

They weren't allowing a lot of points but it was mostly luck. They weren't terrible but I think they were only a top 16 defense in dvoa for like 1 week this year.

With Alex .600 winning % as the Redskins starting QB, and without his devastating injury...we would still be in it.

They weren't allowing a lot of points but it was mostly luck. They weren't terrible but I think they were only a top 16 defense in dvoa for like 1 week this year.

IMHO if haskin is available, take em.........and murray is special, but is he gonna split two sports?

I'm hearing that Haskins is going to return to school, but that was before Meyer "retired." I completely agree that Murray is special and some here have expressed their concerns about his desire to play baseball. That said, I hope that we actually try to get him, because as you've correctly stated, he is "Special!"

yeah but he already signed his baseball contract and took a 4+ mill signing bonus........if oyu draft him high, he may never play football.........

Based on limited research I'd be pretty happy with Haskins if we didn't have to trade up. I just doubt we'll be able to pull that off.

I wouldn't mind trying to get him but it would need to be with very late pick.
