If Alex never plays another game for the Redskins, he will have a better winning % than Kirk as our starting QB. Alex was brought in to win football games in Washington, and he was doing that.
no the defense and run game were doing that ,

please dean , stop with the foolishness , the older you get the chance for injury and the recovery times become greater

same with colt but sometimes you have to think about what could go wrong before weakening the team AT CB and giving up a young resource

the injury scenario was brought up by critics of the trade and summarily dismissed by people who supported the ASS trade

fact is he was among the worst performing qbs this season before the injury and went back to HIS CDC ways as also predicted by critics and dismissed

now we need a qb , possibly 2 cbs , 2 OGS , an OLB an ILB and a safety and perhaps 2 wrs and limited resources do to 2 poor trades

what foolishness? you are playing Monday Morning QB here on a guy who had a career ending injury. Smith didnt have injury history. He had a history of protecting the ball and winning games and playing smart. that is why the trade was made. Now when the season went to shit you are playing Monday morning QB. Bullshit.

Don't give me this crap that the sky is falling. Something will be worked out for next year.

you are the king of monday nite qbing , and again before a OTA snap was taken this was brought up

he also does have an injury history because he missed all of 2008 with a shoulder injury

and again he was playing like garbage BEFORE the injury

now who cares what some simple justifications of trading for him really matter ? there is plenty of justifications saying it was dumb

it was a panic move by our FO and signing keenum , TB fitz are just a few examples of us being exactly where we would be today , heading to 6=7 wins rather then giving up young resources for 7 wins tops

the same thing happened when we traded for a washed up DMAC from the same damn dude , REID

we were fleeced

We should do the amazing...be patient and not reach in a weak class. Wait until 2020 and draft from a stronger class...let JJ be the QB next season with McCoy.

We are heading to 6-10 so what is that about winning ? I would rather play 500 or less football without giving up young resources Then to give them up and still be 500 or less ! Now we are weak at 2 positions qb and cb

We wasted a 3rd round pick on a qb who is done

We wasted a 6th round pick on a stiff bu qb. Who is in Denver

And we wasted a 4th round pick on a terrible half year rental

The FO , the coaching staff and apparently you misread what this football team was

we are heading to 6-10 b/c of the injures. Only you would look at that record and take it seriously. Dallas will win the division b/c they are the healthiest. Not b/c of talent. We actually beat Dallas this year

dumb trades that r*pe depth . Again CDC lost the Texan game , lost the colts game , was embarrassed by the saints and falcons .
He was ranked 28th out of 32 starters i the nfl vs the weakest part of our schedule

The ASS trade is a bust , it has ruined our cap for 2 years. It raped CB depth and the players you said would make up for the loss failed particularly FM who is a failure In The slot based on PFF. Rankings .

Now we have no Qb , we stand to lose Norman further weakening the CB position while fuller and BB ( he of puck six game yesterday ) were gone and now we get to line up with Dunny ,FM and stroman while being qb’d by McCoy and JJ with the next Kevin Hogan waiting in the wings

You are not being objective or honest in your assessment. Sure the injuries are a big contributing factor to the Skins' problems, but that is by no means the entire story.

Most of their early season victories were against bad teams & the Skins offense was far from a major force in most of their wins. A major reason for those victories was the defense & their ability to stop the run & also have a decent pass rush. In the last month or so the defense has been a joke for the most part, and there are very few injuries on the defensive side.

This whole "the Redskins suck only because of injuries" mantra is BS. You are also being less than honest in stating that the Cowboys are winning not because of talent - only because of health. Guys like Elliott, Cooper & several of their defensive players are very talented. I don't like saying that, but it is true. Try to be at least somewhat objective and honest.

It’s my fault he won’t be objective buddy . I have been on him for 3 yrs with KC and 1/2 this year on the trade for smith . He believes admitting to certain things means he loses face .

For him to admit BA and Gruden need to go would be admission that the FO bungled our situation at qb . He dislikes KC and anything that could cause him to admit he is the guy we should have kept simply does not compute

Time for folks to get over things like that. I have said it before - I would gladly admit to being wrong numerous times about this team if the end result is success for the Redskins. I have posted several things in the past that perhaps don't look good now - big deal.

Not just w/ the Cousins situation or the Smith trade - Allen has been wrong on numerous occasions & the bottom line is what does the guy have to show for many, many years running this team? Not much & the future doesn't look too promising either. To write all of that off to injuries is absurd. People need to park their egos at the door & start honestly looking at what this franchise needs to do moving forward to have any chance at all in the years ahead.

The Eagles and SKins are severely banged up this year. Yes injuries are a factor. Its a much different year if they didn't happen. A 10 win season would of been reasonable. what is wrong with that?

It wouldn’t have been. What is different? Do you believe AS would have mattered...

Texans...AS had already lost this game with two picks and completing well below 50% of his passes. Hell, it was Colt who scored 14 of the 21 in less time than AS played.

Dallas scored 31 points, had 400 yards, Ezekiel ran for 120, and Cooper went for 180. Yes, we had turnovers, but we didn’t play defense at all. Colt turned it over three ties but they only scored seven off of them. Only one of them led to a short field. AS only scored 20 in the first game. Sorry but AS would have lost this one too...probably by more.

Phi bitch slapped us. We scored thirteen and if you take away AP’s one long run, he averaged one yard per carry.

NYG...don’t go there.
