So there it is. Regardless, I've been about as anti-Boogie as anyone on this board. Adding his cancerous ways to the young Lakers roster would've been suicidal IMO.

can't say I disagree with this. never really liked the guy's attitude...

Yeah, I really like how his game and the way Luke wants the team to play is starting to work.

It's not Warriors level obviously, but you can see it starting to work like that (Warriors JV? lol) with the ball just moving and finding the best shot.

It's usually going to be Lebron because he's obviously the best player, but it doesn't look like he's having to work as hard. Which is the point of what they've been trying to do.

To be fair though, some of this is the result of the competition they've had lately. So they need to show they can do this against the better teams. But, you have to show you can do it against the bad teams before you can do it against the good ones.

The Spurs are a solid win because of Pop, DeRozan and LA...but they're not at full strength either, so it's not as solid as it could have been.

I mean before last night he had a career low in MPG, while he is averaging a lot of points, assists, etc. per game it just seems like the pace might have a lot to with that too which is a great thing. I still think they need to go out and get a shooter, maybe another piece at the deadline but the core is there, not exactly great but it’s getting better

I've been pretty anti-Boogie myself and even prior to the injury, I wouldn't have wanted him coming to the Lakers by himself.

But with Lebron on the team, if he is at least close to what he was pre-injury and the Lakers strike out on their top targets, I wouldn't have an issue with him coming to the Lakers. Especially if they can somehow get him for less than a max deal. I think Lebron could keep Boogie in check and if you can get Rondo to stick around, he might be able to help keep Boogie in check too, since they were teammates last year.

I think it would be very interesting to see what Lebron could do when paired with one of the best modern NBA bigs in the league...especially if the kids continue to develop.

Agree. They need to either get a shooter or develop one. Kuzma and Hart look like they could develop into shooters, but they are too inconsistent right now. Some games they'll be lights out from 3 and some games they couldn't hit a 3 if the basket was 3 feet wide and the line was 3 feet closer. lol

A JJ Reddick type player would really make them dangerous. Not contender type dangerous...but more, "not sure that's a team we want to see in the playoffs" type dangerous.

Yeah, and they need to show they can do it on the road too. 6 of the next 7 games are on the road. And Ingram is going to miss time on top of that.

Agree. If they can start doing it on the road, that will show that they are starting to "get it".

Hopefully Ingram won't miss too many, if any, games. I haven't heard or read anything other than x-rays were negative as far as anything serious.

I don't know if he could have played last night, they had him as questionable for the rest of the game, but didn't play him. They may have chosen to keep him out because they really didn't need him. They've been pretty cautious with injuries to the young guys. Overly cautious, imo.

Really hoping last night was a turning point for the Thunder. They fell behind a motivated nets team by 23 points but got a win. Westbrook got a triple double but he was deferring to a red hot PG in the 4th quarter. PG had 25 in the 4th and ended up with 47. This team is so good on defense most nights they always have a chance to beat anybody. Looking forward to seeing what they can do.

Lebron's 4th quarter last night might be the quietest 20 point quarter I've ever seen. I had no idea he had scored that many until they were talking about it after the game.

Some of it was the fact that it was a 43 point quarter, so other guys were scoring.

But mostly it was because the points came within the flow of the offense. It never became "all Lebron, all the time".

He's showing why he was a great signing.....and a huge reason why I think he has to be among the top 1-2 for MVP.

I've been saying Cousins for a while.....as well as a few other players......

LOL.

I was looking at it in the opposite way; they needed 47 pts from George to edge out a mediocre Nets team in the final seconds that will be gutted for free agents over the summer. Great to get that kind of production from George and get the win, but why was an extraordinary individual effort needed to beat the Nets?

He should be every year, but voter fatigue hurts him more than anyone else.

Personally, if I were a Thunder fan, I'd want to see how this works in the playoffs and/or late in the season when they are fighting for seeding. That's when Westbrook can be very difficult to play with because he likes to play hero ball.

If he can learn to do what he did in the 4th quarter last night, when the games really matter, then the Thunder will be a very dangerous team. If not, it'll be another 1st or 2nd round exit.

Not necessarily. You can make a great case for Curry and Greek freak being top 2

LeBron is putting up his highest scoring average in 10 seasons and doing it while averaging a career low in minutes.
