In any league the team based in NY City would be great for income when that team is a championship or playoff ready team. I am saying I am surprised they haven't done more to make them more competitive. Because I believe they manipulated the draft to make sure Lonzo Ball ended up on the Lakers

The entire history of the NBA has proven that talent wins out as long as talent plays well as a team. It is fact.

Besides. You claim the Knicks current roster should be able to contend for the 8 seed, which completely ignores 2 more things.

1) being the 8 seed would be absolutely horrible for the future of the franchise. They need another high lotto pick to build their talent base. Should they land another elite talent like Zion or Barrett, they would also be real players to land a big time FA. Then they could actually be pretty good.

2) even if they were the 8 seed you wouldn't be happy. You would bitch about wanting them to be the 4 seed.

The only reason they may compete for the 8th playoff spot is because the East doesn't really have 8 teams that should make the playoffs. I don't think they will get there, because even in the East there are that many teams better than them.

NBA has become the Harlem Globetrotters show, trick plays and dunks!

They practice hard in the NFL, MLB, NHL , heck probably the WNBA practices harder than the NBA!

As far as Fizdale , tell me what makes him a good coach? The other nite vs Detroit , they started off shooting 50%, than could not hit the broadside of a barn. So what does he implement? NOTHING!!!! So what happens, keep shooting and missing , confidence disappears, tries different players, they can’t hit a thing. And before you know it you’re down 25 , game over!

That’s great coaching! How bout some pick and rolls, go to hoop draw a foul, do something to get confidence back, anything ?? But not nothing!

You are just wrong. The Knicks have little talent on the roster they are currently playing.

As to the coaching, it is impossible to tell with the talent on the roster. It could be Wooden-level or it could be terrible, without talent you can't tell the difference.
